    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/285533"&gt;@abeck&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have not been actually 'charged'.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All retailers put a temporary hold on your credit card for the cost the purchase...to be sure you can pay for it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;it then falls off in a day or two, depending on your bank.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You are not charged until it ships.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All vendors including gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants etc do this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is common practice.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a jewelry order that just remains in the Processing stage but I've been charged. Anyone else experiencing this problem.&amp;nbsp; I've shopped with QVC since day 1 and the service has certain gone down hill.&amp;nbsp; It's so sad...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Carolina where shipping services in route must be deplorable.&amp;nbsp; I recently had an item with a 10 day delay while in transit.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Not if, I have shopped at QVC from Day One and, per my bank, I have been charged.&amp;nbsp; Maybe it's in route and the website hasn't been updated. No ifs and or buts...I've been charged.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
