I chose to switch the main channel for Q2 last night and found Shawn on for 4 hours with Diamonique. If you missed it - it was wonderful. She was funny, entertaining and very descriptive. It was such a pleasure to watch - kathy Levine popped in and Erin was the vendor guest. So much more refined than the other 2 on the main channel. Can't wait for Shawn's studio park release as well - looks interesting and more than just t-shirts and joggers.

The only problem I have with Q2 is that on my TV it doesn't come over in high def which makes jewelry especially difficult to see details. I prefer to watch jewelry shows on the regular Q channel which is in high def on my TV.

I watched a little bit of Shawn last night too.

I would take Shawn over JT every day of the week and twice on Sundays!

Info was presented as far as the estimated carat size of the Diamonique stones, legnth of necklaces and mostly intelligent conversation abt the designs .

I think Shawn tried , but you could see the product Reps cringe when Shawn said that one Amy Stran double layered necklace had tangled . Also Shawn had just heard Lisa Freede say her piet lariat necklace " Would not twist" and Shawn blurted out something abt he put the necklace on backwards . Then she got the necklace all tangled in her dress collar and microphone ear piece .

I think Shawn was trying to present in a sophisticated manner but honestly she must be rusty putting on necklace- maybe they could have had someone put the necklaces on her .

The camera crew did not focus in closely many times. I had to go online to look at pieces that I was interested in buying for my younger nieces as Christmas presents .

Earlier I had seen Stacey Raush who comes across as very refined and soft spoken . She's the best Host that QVC has at the moment . Stacey is beautiful, refined , well spoken , gives details and makes for a pleasurable viewing experience .She presents items mostly alone without another Host .

She did a wonderful job but the camera crew did not do a decent job of focusing on the earring or any other pieces for her . Appeared to be the same studio that Shawn was in later that night .

@skatting44 @I was curious about the camera as well. I only saw Shawn's show. I thought she did a good job. she works well on her own. I'm hoping the camera thing was just a one off and will go back to the normal soon.

I switched to Q2 also - couldn't take what was happening on the main channel.

I didn't see the whole show but what I saw Shawn was great. I have really come to appreciate her.

agree with you - the presentations on Q2 are not as detailed as they are on their main channel. The other comment I'll make is that ( especially with fashion ) they never seem to have a variety ( colors etc ) with them - they will prompt you to the pictures that are on their website - don't always see the point in watching Q2 for this reason alone.

@skatting44 I'm glad to hear Shawn did pretty well- I used to love her, but no longer watch much at all. I do find that no matter what I watch her presenting, she's far better when she doesn't try too hard to impress, so your observation makes sense to me.

I didn't see the show - don't have the slightest idea where Q2 shows up on my TV, but I could figure it out if I wanted to know!

Shawn is excellent at her job - comes off like a real person unlike other hosts who portray themselves as "celebs"
