@Toots711Yes, in 7th grade I got the long white pearl color

necklace. About 15 years ago, I looked on ebay and people were selling vintage pop beads. I bought turquoise and white.

They were fun when we were kids. I think that they came out around the same time as Spoolie hair curlers and Hula Hoops.

@Toots711 Yes I remember them. Passed a lot of time making creations with my cousins. We had colored ones too besides white.

OMG!!! I loved these! We just called them "pop" beads. We would take them apart and put them together to make longer necklaces, shorter ones, bracelets and mix and match colors! So much fun!

Funny that you reminisce about pop beads! I'm on the hunt for them as I used to really have fun playing with them as a young girl! I found a white vintage strand at our local flea market and would love to find more of them. I want to get some for my 7+ year old granddaughter for Christmas. Amazon sells great sets of them; but, more variety of them now.

Loved them! I had all sorts of colors and made necklaces, bracelets and anklets..

I remember if you "popped" and "unpopped" a favorite color set too many times sometimes the little piece that joined the beads together would snap off or stretch out. So sad.

I gave them up when mood rings hit.....
