Charm Necklaces

Not too long ago we had a discussion on charm necklaces and I mentioned how I'd made one by attaching a charm bracelet with a toggle clasp to a necklace, not so busy, with another toggle clasp. I just found a photo of my necklace which is turquoise stones on the Southwestern themed charms. I also have one done in purple stones. The beads are an old Carolyn Pollack 16" necklace.

@Kachina624 : We really are sisters from another mother; I have 3 Native American charm bracelets to which I've attached toggle necklaces in order to wear them as necklaces.

@Kachina624 I love it! What a great idea and a wonderful way to utilize a short necklace. I have extended a gold rope necklace by attaching a gold rope bracelet, but I never though of using beads and a charm bracelet. I still love my charm bracelets and your turquoise charm bracelet and necklace is beautiful.

@Kachina624 After living in pajamas and watching TV, being glued to CNN all that first year of Covid, I decided to wear clothes and jewelry again. Most times it is just a pretty caftan, since I don't go out much. I take out jewelry to wear with my caftans.

Today it is just gold hoops and a Murano bracelet with my Stan Herman caftan. Last week I wore my teal print Stan Herman caftan with a large turquoise and silver Native American cuff

bracelet and large handmade turquoise and silver Native made earrings from

Durango Silver Co. Sometimes it is an effort to dress, put on a little makeup and jewelry, but it makes me feel better even if I'm not going out. I do love my jewelry. I do it for me.
