Affinity Diamond Ring Disappointing

I purchased the Affinity highway/bypass style ring, sterling silver with rose gold plating. The diamonds are sparkly; however, the plating has worn off after three months of occasional wear. I like the style, so will bring it to a jeweler to see what can be done. Sorry, QVC. This one is a miss unless/until you figure out how to plate for long lasting results. I can't speak to the yellow gold plate....maybe that will last longer but at just over $500 do you want to risk it?

I miss the days when I could afford Affinity pieces. They are so expensive now. I have some nice pendants and bracelets from many years ago. That whole line is entirely out of my ability to afford anymore.
