In addition to the Ultrafine Tuboges, I got the 40 gram Byzantine. The other option was the bigger one (70 grams) but I think I would need a crain to lift it.

I love the whitness and the fact that they don't tarnish. I put it next to my Platinum. Can hardly tell the difference. Pure silver never tarnishes. But they have to put copper in it to make it Sterling. That makes it tarnish. Ultrafine has very little copper in it. It becomes a bit softer, but it's worth it to me.

Ultra fine is my favorite. I've never found it to be "dull-ish" at alll. I love the brightness. In fact, I have my ultrafine paper clip bracelet on right now. And it was less expensive than the TSV in white gold. Plus, it never tarnishes.

I have Ultrafine in the original .999 silver and the more current one in .950 (which, by the way, still has filler metals in it).

I love it, but the more recent pieces are not as "white" as they used to be and have the faintest yellowish cast compared to others from a few years ago. I polish them with a cloth made for delicate/fine jewelry, and some black does come up off the surface. Not a lot, but it's still there.

It's not enough for me to stop ordering it, just a subtle change I've noticed.

Dislike the new tubogas, but the byzantine is lovely. I wish given its weight it didn't have those little extender links on the end. Why bother? Why not just offer the correct sizing and do away with those? It's an odd design choice on the clasp for a heavier gram weight bracelet.

I know what you mean. I have a several 18K charm bracelets, and they also has the extender rings. I don't know why. I don't mind, because the chain effect is like an extra charm dangling. Although this might seem different since it's not a charm bracelet. I'll see how it looks. This bracelet is so massive that not much of the extender will show after you clasp it. The extended rings makes it easier to put on. I have a smaller link Ultrafine bracelet that has an extra (1) ring, but you don't notice it. They kind of tuck in after you clasp it.

@songbird Silver that's properly stored in anti-tarnish boxes also does not tarnish. I have a ton of silver (maybe literally), and I never polish a thing. I prefer silver with some oxidation as it brings out the detail.

The last Ultrafine I bought, a pair of earrings, fell apart in my hand when I took it out of the box. Not made like it used to be.

It's too shiny @Group 5 minus 1 in an unnatural way if you wil. Typical sterling 'wears' into its look, I guess somewhat looses its shiny lustre but that's not to say it's 'rubbing' off or heading into deep tarish stage. Make sense?

I do have a couple of chunky sterling bracelets from YEARS gone by, They are not ultra but they still gleam gorgeously and were so much less than today's prices - ultra or not.

Wouldn't trade any of my aged sterling mostly from here, for anything!

@songbird I respectfully disagree on ultra looking like platinum.

Nothing looks like platinum no more than ultra resembling anything but itself. I have platinum pieces as well white gold, a couple of ultra pieces, typical sterling, even radium over. Each has it's own characteristics to make them all their own, especially in color. This is what I see when I see different white metals together.
