Cape Cod Bracelet

DD is in a wedding in Cape Cod next weekend, so we will be going up. She and I were talking about getting one of these bracelets. She doesn't have much free time until Monday. But we can shop then!

Can any of you recommend a jewelry shop that has these? We want nice ones, but not real gold. TIA!

I had to do a search as I have never heard of these bracelets.

cape cod jewelers dot com has a large selection and different price points.

I like these bracelets!

I had to look this up as I've never heard of these pieces of jewelry before.

With that being said, while they are lovely, they don't "say" Cape Cod to me. I guess I expected something more representative of that area. I think this style is available pretty much anywhere.

I'm partial to the Nantucket Basket jewelry : )

I have the cape cod earrings and necklace. I would think you could buy the bracelet anywhere on the cape. That's where I got mine. I love mine and wear them almost daily. Good luck..

I own one but I purchased mine in a store in Saratoga, NY. All the jewelers probably carry them.

I bookmarked the Eden store to get one of these original screwball bracelets on a trip. However actually buying one from them seemed to be a bit of a performance and I didn’t have that kind of time on that trip.

I’ve admired them on others though.

@Pagan - You're right! Apparently you have to book an appointment with a lot of places. We won't have the time either. I was hoping someone here would tell me to go to a jewelry store that had them in small, medium, and large.

Our one nephew got married in Key West. The girls got "Key West" bracelets. DD has a small wrist. She found a reputable place that measured and fit them. He gave her a kid's size. I think she paid $100. She had it on the plane home, but didn't have it after that. The clasp must have come loose. I spent the next day calling every place it could have been, but of course no luck. That was a long time ago.

When I was in HS my friend brought me a souvenir bracelet from Cape Cod. It was a wire bracelet and had a sharks tooth in the middle of it. 😝 I thought that was a Cape Cod bracelet.

@Sooner Yes they have been around for a long time. They are called "cape cod" because they originated on the cape. Made in someone's home and became popular. I can't remember the exact story. Something similar to Yankee Candle I believe. I wouldn't call them a fad.

Yes it's called a Cape Cod bracelet because they originated on Cape Cod. They're copied.

Lovely bracelets, don't understand why some have to be negative. Especially when someone is interested in buying one
