Eternagold has really changed since Ted left...and not for the better. It would be nice if they offered a decent TSV.

I'm glad I bought a lot of Eterna while Ted was there.,..and other gold while prices were much lower!

I kept some gold jewelry rather than return it due to design or weight, now it's much better than the thin items that are made!

I will probably just watch because I have a lot of gold jewelry from the "old" days. I really have a hard time purchasing gold now at today's prices.

Glad they are still doing this day BUT, we have lost most of our great jewelry presenters like Lisa R., Antonella Nester and Jill Bauer. The newer hosts are not ready to adequately present Gold Rush jewelry, as well as some of the not brand new but not veterans either. Give me Rick D., Mary Beth Roe, Pat JD, and Jane RT; otherwise, forget it.

@songbird Most of the pieces with solid gold are mixed with heavy silver but I've seen 2 pieces that are all gold. There is an all gold bamboo stye ring with diamonds and a pair of gold hoop earrings listed in inventory. Maybe there will be more for Gold Day. The bamboo ring looks beautiful.

I hope he has all gold. His silver always tarnishes. I can't of anything worse then tarnishing silver and gold all on one piece.

@just wonder you make a very good point that the Q is low on hosts that have the poise, grace, and knowledge to sell jewelry. Those you mentioned are great. I'd add Jennifer Coffey because she really does her homework.

Other hosts sell jewelry like it's a Denim & Co. T-shirt or a set of LocknLock. They move items around too much, have clunky dialogue skills, never show the jewelry properly, give incorrect information, or continuously harp on "only a dozen left in size average!".

I will not be buying gold jewelry anywhere. Nothing much I've seen is any better than what I already have.

I don't know that QVC's prices are any higher than similar items elsewhere I just know that what I see that's really different from what I already have is way more expensive than I want to spend and, truth be told, I don't even wear the better jewelry I have very often No reason to throw more money into storing new.

I keep some of jewelry that gains in value (18K gold, corundum gems, diamonds etc) in the safe. I can no longer afford to wear them (stolen or lost) I continue to wear jewelry everyday because I still work. But again Ultrafine instead of Sterling. I just purchased some 18K from another channel, so I'll skip this time around. Frustrating over at the other channel because they keep low quantity of each item, so it sells out quickly. Not at QVC. But I'll still look at QVC on the gold day. The good thing is that when they have a gold day, other jewelry not shown go on sale. So I usually check them out.
