Ceramic watches?

I loved the look of white ceramic watches though they were fragile and expensive to repair. They seem to have disappeared. It is too bad as I loved the look and feel.

Hi, @philom ! I know what you mean. I love ceramic bracelet watches so much that I had an Invicta white ceramic mechanical watch repaired after finding it (finally) it a moving box. It required a repair of $120 as it needed a new stem and another part, but that watch is the joy of my watch collection. I'd retired my Apple Watch 2 with the repaired ceramic version and a pedometer (Apple watches can falsely register activity). My son gave me an Apple Watch 6 for early Christmas so I'm wearing it and like it so far. But make no mistake, I keep my ceramic wound and the pedometer charged in case I want to switch out. In my opinion, white ceramic watches are primo!

I have a beautiful, ceramic watch by Isaac Mizrahi from several years ago, and the integrity has not changed.😊

My ceramic watches are not at all fragile and none have ever needed to be repaired. I have several Isaac Mizrahi ceramic watches and the main selling point for me was the fact that they are ceramic and extremely durable (think space shuttle!). They don’t chip or scratch and they are water resistant.

I have four diamond ceramic watches, all the same style; ivory, white, brown and black. I'll keep wearing them as long as I can put them on. They are not fragile unless dropped on something like a tile or cement floor. I've never even had a chip on one of my ceramics.

Absolutely ! I wear my white ceramic Invicta for 15 + years. I travel with it too. Not a single scratch!.

I would recommend ceramic watch to anyone.

Two of my Isaac watched broke. I love the look so much, I bought the third one, but it is not a durable watch.

The second time there were no direct hit or damage, it kind of fluy away from me, and broke near clasp, not the lugs. I would say cheaper ceramic watches are not as durable.

I have a ceramic watch from their oniss line. extremely durable and very pretty. I don't know if they still have them, but i've had mine quite a few years and still has the same glossy shine.

I have a good ceramic watch. I wear it a lot. I would not take it travelling.

Isaac is so affordable. too bad iit is fragile.

I Have an Isaac white ceramic watch. I wore it for years until the battery went. I’ve had it in a drawer probably about five years waiting to go to the jeweler. I’m soooo lazy!

This is news to me. I recall them stating ceramic is so sturdy it was used on the Space Shuttle. Did I misundertand?

I have two of Isaac's ceramic watches .... Blush Pink and the gorgeous Hematine. Neither have given me any trouble whatsoever. Hmm.

My father in law is a real minority. He wears a solid 18K gold watch and you don't come across that for sure!

@songbird I know quite a few people who wear 18k gold watches. They were very common back when gold was less expensive. My husband inherited his dad's 18k gold Rolex. Still running....
