Question: maybe it's just me? But does anyone else think that the quality of diamonique is not what it used to be??? I haven't ordered much jewelry lately but I just received my second piece over the last couple months and once again was hugely disappointed? 😣. I just got the wildflower necklace J369297 and found it below standards! The chain is a DULL gold, not sparkly or shiny in the least and the disc already had discoloration marks on it? Back it goes....100% not worth the money! It looks like cheap costume jewelry from H & M! 😞 The last piece I kept.....I now regret! It is the floral eternity band ring that Amy S goes on and on about! Within a matter of weeks it too became dull and cheap looking and the stones have no sparkle! It sits in my jewelry drawer. So disappointing to see this decline.

Clean your dull stones with a toothbrush and just about any kind of soap. Rinse well. If that doesn't do it, I would send the ring back. There is no reason the stones shouldn't sparkle.

I feel like alot of the popularity of Diamonique went down

because they decided to go in the direction of "bigger is better"......instead of sticking with more believeable and classic styles........i think more women would purchase if the jewelry was more believeable in size, style.......then those honking big carat pieces....

I loved the days when diamonique was set in 14kt. gold. The settings were gorgeous and unique. the pieces i bought back then, look just as good today, as they did then. I will say i have been disappointed in recent years by the endless halo designs and HUGE stones. i too prefer more believable pieces, one to three carats. the gold plating over sterling silver does have issues, at times rubbing off. but i will say most pieces haven't. In the past few months i have ordered the following pieces and found them to be lovely up close and personal. They don't look fake and are quite believable. they remind me of the vintage diamonique pieces we all adore.

J368425

J368335

My Diamonique pieces are all at least fifteen years old. All are set in 14k or platinum. I wouldn't buy jewelry set in sterling or gold overlay.
The current pieces look inferior.

Several years ago when Tacori was allowing their designs to be reproduced with Diamonique I feel that was so beautiful and elegant. I agree that designs with bigger stones don't always mean better ones as a whole.

I agree Diamonique is deteriorating right before our eyes, don't know if its the buyers or QVC itself but they have really dropped the ball on this one. It's been along time since they have had anything interesting. I have even gone to the suggetion box and left ideas of things I would lovel to see them bring back. Getting in touch with them is out of the question even on facebook they do not reply. I too have noticed the quality we enjoyed is gone. The gold clad is now very brassy not the mellow yellow it use to be. It's sad I am sure they had a nice following who purchased a lot but they don't seem to care jewelry seems to be on the way out with QVC even the gold and silver shows we use to enjoy our few and far between. I can remember when the Q had collectible shows that were fun and different. I have also noticed on many other items in different catagories once out of stock they don't come back for months and months if ever.

Some of this is the product itself. I think quality has gone down. Some of the stones have grayish color , sometimes foggy and poorly produced. The other is the very rapid popularity of Bella Luce. Technically they might be the same, but the Bella Luce is very innovative with designs while the stones look very clean. The rhodium plating with JTV pushes compared to the flat looking, lackluster silver QVC puts the stones in is another factor. Also I think Charles Winston is the designer of many of the stones. I have no idea if any of the sales are down, but I'm sure QVC sees these forums and heavy criticism DMQ receives.

I bought the "Amy" band ring and love it. I'm really pleased with the Diamonique - very sparkly - not at all cloudy or dull. It's platinum clad and I think it looks terrific. I buy very few pieces of jewelry these days, but this band ring is one that I wear a lot. My wedding band is too loose (just need to get it resized), so this band is a great alternative.
