My Amy Ring arrived. Can you tell which one is Diamonique? Pretty close to me!

Everyone's complaining about Diamonique not looking real, flimsy setting, no shine, etc. Amy's Ring (the top one) is platinum clad, a sturdy shank and except for the side stones in the setting, even the center stone (Amy's is a little larger) is set in a basket just like my platinum engagement ring.

My review? Excellent 5 ⭐️s!!!!

I guessed the top ring was real, because I see more color in it.

Then I looked up 'the Amy ring' and to my surprise the top ring is the 'Amy' ring!

I'm impressed!

@KingstonsMom Thanks. I mean 5 ⭐️ review...would give more if possible. I've always enjoyed mine, but would like to put mine away for safe keeping and have a dupe to wear. This is the only oval CZ that's platinum clad. Even in other stores/sites, they're difficult to find. This one, Amy's ring, was out of stock and recently became available. I guess it was quite popular.

Yes, my engagement ring is the bottom one. In the pic they may look like there's some difference, but in person...like they say, a jeweler would have to be the judge.

Your ring is gorgeous, but it's hard to tell the difference! I bought the "Amy band ring" the last time she was on with these rings and am really pleased with it....well made and a lot of sparkle and shine. I may have to go back and buy the one you bought to go with the band!

Platinum clad can wash off after not to long a time. I wouldn't wear it while handwashing. I seen the wear patterns on a ring before. It looks like a coating that has designated.

@ECBG I think it depends on the thickness of the plating. I have several Diamonique platinum clad eternity bands that I stack w/ my wedding set...they go in dishwater, etc. I've had them for many years...no problem.

You put your rings in the dw? Windex and a soft toothbrush is perfectly acceptable also.

Top one is prettiest. Bottom one is cloudy. All depends on the grade. So much is involved with diamonds. Carat, clarity, cut, on and on like that.
