As a stand alone, I'd say #1. If you need a charm bracelet, or something from which to hang a coin or to wear beside a watch, I'd pick #2.

#1 is the most decorative.

I vote for the top one. They're both pretty, but the bottom one is fairly plain. I like that it's wider, too.

The top one looks inexpensive, light weight, tinny looking. The bottom one looks more substantial, thus more expensive.

@SharkE The second bracelet is the one I prefer. It is known as a curb link and very fashionable right now, a classic. I just purchased a pair of gold earrings in this link and they are gorge!

I like them both for different reasons...I like the clasp better on the 2nd one and the link looks couture, rich. Chunky, statement, nice next to a watch or not.

But the top one also reminds me of my mom's Gold charm bracelet I inherited...an unusual link, (hers bought in the 70's)... it's different and pretty for that reason to me.

I hope you weren't looking for me to help you decide, lol!

For me, I like the 2nd one but it really depnds on each persons taste in jewelry. I like the smooth rich look of the gold in the second.
