Isn't this very similar to a previous Gem Day TSV.? When I looked at it I honestly thought it was a repeat. Same gemstones as before right? I love morganite but am lucky to have purchased a few pieces in the past.

Always happy to see zircon because that is the real December birthstone. I wish they would publish where it is sourced from, pretty sure the best come from Vietnam. I have zircon rings and a bracelet purchased from Q years ago at much better price. If this TSV was bezel set would probably order. I also like the fire opal but passing for same reason, prong set.

I wish Q would have more bezel set offerings in gems.

Sorry for two posts, but another gem on my wish list, ginger quartz in star cut. Have a pair of star cut ginger quartz stud earrings and coordinating pendant that Kathy Levine sold me years ago. I wear the pendant on a fine 14k chain and have to say I get compliments every time I wear it, think it is because of the star cut. Have regretted not buying the ginger quartz star cut ring that coordinated with this suite. Wish they would bring something like this back into inventory in 14K, not sterling.

If I was going to spend that kind of money for a ring, I'd look for something contemporary and unique, not stones lined up in a row. I'd probably come up with a custom design from the nice jewelry store here in my town.

@nova Very possible, they've done this in the past when the stuff doesn't sell (more than likely due to the price). This one looks familiar to me too.

And no, I'm not buying this in any color, style doesn't grab me at all.

Very very dated look, not my cup of tea, I like a contremporary look. and of course, being sold on the Q, it has to be way overpriced.

The color of the Tanzanite is kind of nice. Don't care for the style that much. At least it has diamonds and set in 14K. No red flash (that doubles the value of your Tanzanite) Good price for that 1,200.00. But that's not common. A 2C from Gem Shopping Network would be higher, but better color. Closer to $3,000.00 there. The styles there are better too. Here is with & without red flash. The more blue purple the better. The red flash is considered a mystery. Here is the fabled red flash

I think it is lovely---but will not be buying---I do like a day of gemstones tho--will watch but not buy--have a ton in my armoire right now--but a nice change
