For those of you that shop on the SHOPHQ shopping channel, I have a question about Chuck Clemency. Are they trying to phase out his products (Diamond and Gem Treasures)? I used to have a pretty red diamond band ring from his Diamond Treasures collection --- lost it recently and wanted to try and replace it. There is not much on their website in the way of fancy colored diamonds anymore.

Things have gone so far downhill there, I really don't shop there anymore but I've noticed and wondered the same. Poor Chuck put so msny years into that company and was even grooming his children to take over. Must be a crushing blow to him.

The they are not phasing Chuck out. He was on this morning with some jewelry at close out prices. It was an unscheduled visit and he said that he's closing out many items to prepare for all the new items that coming in. I don't know about colored diamonds but I know no jewelry vendor on any shopping channel offers colored diamonds all the time.

This is a strange time to be preparing for new items. You'd think they'd already be there in preparation for holiday sales.

Seriously? How many years has it been since you visited the ShopHQ site? ShopHQ is actually better than it ever was, I'm quite impressed. They did cut ties with a lot of their under peforming vendors which allowed them to bring in a lot of new vendors. Their jewelry is still the best in the shopping channel business, no one has ever been able to come close to them in that area. I don't know what their future is but speaking as a customer; I'm a happy camper.

@Sapphiregal I don't think Chuck is going anywhere. If you are interested in colored diamonds, ShopLC has very nice ones in red, green, blue, yellow, champagne and multi-colored. Their prices can't be beat, and they often offer coupons.

I'm not in the know , however they did have special shows & pricing for Chuck Clemency line to celebrate his anniversary on ShopHq/ Shop NBC/Evine or whetever their name is now. I think he might have celebrated 25 yrs. Have a few of his earrings. Had him custom size one ring which he did for free. As far as what's offered in Gems , the ShopHQ is limited. Very few gold pieces lately .

I thought they just had several shows from "Hong Kong" with Chuck Clemency. He had a new line of jewelry and liked several of his designs but those shipping prices usually helped me not push the purchase button.

How can a piece of jewelry cost $8.99 to ship? So if you purchase a ring, bracelet, and earrings the total shipping would be $27. I do see where they are attempting to offer reduced shipping when you group some purchases but it still doesn't provoke me to buy.

@chrystaltree. Actually I was there over the week-end, and found it to be one of the most unappealing, user UNfriendly sites I've ever visited. Even with the big Invicta influence, they had few watches for women.

He was on today with sapphires I have several of his rings and I really enjoy them. I have cut way down on my jewelry purchases. I still enjoy watching the jewelry shows on Shophq. His pieces this morning were very pretty. You might try JTV they do have fancy colored diamonds. Good luck.

Chuck's jewelry has gone downhill over the years. The quality is questionable, at best, unless you're willing to spend big bucks. I used to enjoy watching his shows but haven't tuned in for at least a couple of years.

I would be surprised if that channel is still around in a year or 2. They are struggling so badly, it doesn't seem like they know what to do. There have been article after article about how poorly they are doing financially yet they are broadcasting live from Italy, Hong Kong and most recently Blue Stallion Farm in Florida.

I saw on Saturday they have started a VIP club where you can pay a monthly fee and get free s/h and free returns as well as 5% back on purchases. The fee is $16.95/month which IMO is pretty hefty. I don't order enough from them to justify that kind of a cost but if you order enough, the s/h is so high there, it would be worth your while.

I think they are grasping at straws over there.

@LipstickdivaThey sure are. I think $17 a month is insane. I don't order enough to utilize it. I give them credit they aren't going down without a fight.

I have cut down on my shopping, however when I do purchase clothing it is from Shophq, I have lovely jewelry from Shophq. including watches. You cannot beat their watch selection. They have several new vendors as well.

I just bought my first pair of Sonia Bitton diamond earrings from HQ and am in LOVE with them.

I've ordered other ones over the years and sent them back (from the 3 main shopping channels).

I like they tell you the color and clarity and don't pick and choose to tell like Q does.

I'm waiting for another *deal day* when they drop the price back down to $1500 to get them in white gold.

Hi SapphireGal, Chuck is on Shophq this morning. He has diamonds. I am not sure if he has the fancy ones I just turned it on. Good luck

I'm a little saddened by ShopHQ. I purchased a very expensive swiss watch and recently noticed that the watch is starting to fall apart. I called them today because the watch is only a month old and the cs rep told me that she couldn't do anything to help me. Are you kidding me??? I'm 6 days over the limit. The watch was over 250.00 She gave me a number to call the vender. The vender is in another country and kept me on hold for over 30 minutes. Hopefully I won't be charged for the call. Unbelievable. i check with the Better Business Bureau and they have over a thousand complaints about their rude tretment of their customers. I've purchased so many items from them but hardly ever sent anything back. I'm done with them and they will still be charging my account for many months to come for a broken expensive watch which I can't wear. Unbeliebable. QVC would never treat their customers this badly.
