Anybody see the diamond earring TSV?

I just took a look to see if there might be any upcoming TSV's of interest, and spotted a bunch of diamond stud earrings. Everything from a 1/2 carat TW up to 2 carats TW, set in white gold. Very expensive, of course. BUT they aren't Affinity, they are some new lab created diamond brand. AND there are no color, cut or clarity grades listed! I am not shelling out several thousand dollars for a pair of diamond earrings that aren't graded, thank you very much, QVC! Perhaps grading will be discussed in the presentation? I mean, why bother lab creating diamonds that aren't perfect? Rather than shell out almost $3,500 for a pair of diamond earrings that I don't know the grading on, why wouldn't I just spend $35 for an equivalent size of cubic zirconia set in sterling, nobody is going to grab an earring off my earlobe to get a closer look at the stone, so who could tell the difference? This is sort of like the opposite end of the pendulum swing to the Bronzo Italia line, and it might well wind up just as successful (i.e. not very).

I'm guessing they aren't graded because they aren't real diamonds. They are lab - created. That means they were created in a lab, not mined from the ground which is how real diamonds are found. They are the same type of diamonds as diamonique - which are also created in a "lab".

Lab grown diamonds are not cubic zirconia. There is lots of info comparing them online.

Is there an item # yet for the earrings? Where do you look for upcoming TSVs?

Can’t imagine lab created diamonds for that high a price...graded or not. Would never spend that much for any jewelry purchased on a shopping channel.

Lab diamonds are graded by the GIA the same way as they grade natural diamonds.

Don't expect lab diamonds to cost a lot less than natural diamonds and sometimes they will cost more depending on their grade.

Lab diamonds, for some people, are a good choice for conflict-free purchases if what is desired is a diamond and not a simulant.

Just click on 'New' at the top of this page (next to TSV, QVC2 Big Deal).

You can also sort by 'Newest First', after you click on 'New'.

That's the first thing I look at when I come online in the morning. HTH!

Daisy, these are lab created, but they are NOT cubic zirconia (Diamonique), they are chemically identical to diamonds, made from carbon. And btw, cubic zirconia can be graded, QVC claims that they only use top grade cubic zirconia, clear and colorless, and that's why it "earns" a special name. So these diamonds are real, but they are not natural.

I agree, these are chemically diamonds. I am questioning why they are not graded. For many years QVC did not offer grading on their Affinity line, either, They started doing so for some special pieces rather recently. I feel that, given the size of these stones and the price they are charging, natural or lab-created, they ought to be graded. Otherwise I might as well buy cz and save a bunch of money.

Shanus, on every webpage on the QVC site, below the search bar, there is a line that has several drop down menus, from left to right they are "Shop by Category:, "Today's Speical Value", "QVC2 Big Deal", "New", "Trending", "Deals" and "Shot QVC TV". If you click on the TSV tab, you will go to a webpage with all the currently offered items, some from the recent past, some upcoming. "Trending" gets you info on what used to be and sometimes is still listed as "Hot Picks". Hope this helps, and hugs to your sweet Beagle girl!

No I would purchase bellas on JTV They are lovely. They have them set in gold or silver.
