Did anybody notice the outrageous prices on this SILVERTONE (not true silver )jewelry? You can go to Hobby Lobby and make these same pieces for about 20.00. QVC should be ashamed. Nobody I know is going to ask me if my jewelry came from Italy 🤦‍♀️

And I don't even care for it. The piece look too "thick" for my taste. And....agreed....the prices are ridiculous.

@Skvinyard I was just going to start a thread about this so I'm happy to find yours.

I see this line quite a bit at both of our Nordstrom Rack stores (so Nordies must carry it). It's about 1/2 price at the Rack, and I like the pieces I've seen there a lot better than those I've seen on QVC.

I've purchased a couple items from the boutique in Barcelona and I can assure you they are quality pieces. No issues and I always get compliments when I wear them. The designs are unique and I believe worth the price.

Having seen them often in person, they do appear to be very well made and are unusual and eyecatching. As I say, I like the selection at Nordstrom Rack better than the selection here at Q. There are a lot of colorful pieces there.

I really like the dragonfly necklace. I saw it presented the last time the brand was on air. But it's more than I want to spend for a piece like that.

The fact Nordstrom's is carrying this line in their Rack stores tells you all you need to know about the prices. Had these been silver pieces I might have bitten.

I just looked at. It's just inexpensive costume jewelry. If they are saying it's Italian that just means some factory in Italy, it certainly isn't handcrafted by 80 year old artisans. They are just capitalizing on the women who fall for the "made in Italy" mythology. As if Italy doesn't have big factories that are pushing out jewelry. There's one ring that silver PLATED with turquoise color piece of plastic in it and it was over $110. Why would anyone pay that much for a ring that's worth abour $20 when they can get a real sterling and real turquoise ring for the same amount of money or less? Having said that. Those pieces cost just a dollar to two to make so they do not have to sell much product to make a huge profit. I'm not knocking QVC. Apparently there is a market for mystery metal and plastic and customers will pay $100 or $200 for it.

I rarely watch jewelry shows as I'm not in the market, however, I've recently noticed that much of the Q jewelry is greatly over-priced. Only someone who didn't know better would buy it.

Not to blame QVC for the prices. They are sold in gift shops and jewelry stores for those prices.

There are two local jewelry stores in my area that carry this line.

Most of the pieces I've seen are too big and bulky for my taste, although I've also seen some very pretty smaller pieces.

Yes, the jewelry is very well made, but personally I wouldn't spend that much for silvertone jewelry. Most of the pieces of jewelry that I've seen are also quite heavy.

YIKES! Hadn't looked at this line before, but the OP raised my curiosity--I almost fainted at the prices!! Of course everyone is different, but for me part of the fun of jewelry is that it is beautiful AND valuable. Unlike other things we buy, jewelry made from noble metals will always be worth something--maybe not what you paid for it, but gold and silver have residual value. Meanwhile, you have the pleasure of wearing something beautiful.

This isn't it for me, so I won't be buying it.

This brand is really famous in Europe however I agree with you to me it looks more like stainless steel than silver🌻

A friend sells the line in her store, and there's a real issue with repairs as everything has to go back to Spain.

@chrystaltree : it's completely ridiculous to pay such prices for silvertone jewelry. People are paying for the brand name , not for the jewelry itself. I won't throw my money in such overprice pieces.

The ShopLC has a show named Under $10 Friday and they sell silvertone jewelry for $9.99 but also Sterling Silver with real gems as well.

Silvertone is is not durable like gold, silver or stainless steel. I wear mostly silver and white gold. But I have a strange reaction towards stainless steel jewelry, unless I put alcohol on my earlobes and then try the earrings.
