I bought a stainless steel pair from Etsy. They come in several sizes.

Yes, I shower with them in my ears. I have them in second piercings and I don't take them out except to clean them occasionally, not often at all. The ones I got have to be pulled apart, sort of bending the metal to get them on and off...like a large jump ring if you are familiar with that kind of jewelry finding. They don't have a hinge. The hoops I got are from StudioVy. If you copy and paste this in the search box then you will see the hoops listed there on Etsy:

Mine are very small and they barely wrap around my lobe with very little space between the earring and my lobe. They never get in the way and I never feel them on while I'm sleeping.

I'd forgotten about sleepers. I think I used them in the 70s

Almost never sleep in earrings. why do you need sleepers, unless it is for a piercing you seldom use?

I bought mine to put in my second piercings. They stay there and I don't remove them unless I need to clean them or if I want to wear a pair of regular earrings in those holes. Plus the endless hoops are nice to wear all the time...fuss-free and great for when you don't want to worry about losing earrings because of one reason or another.

@ShawnieI just want something that I can leave in all the time. Being retired, I may stay at home for several days and I don't wear earrings unless I go somewhere.

Leverbacks are easy to sleep in. I rarely wear hoops or studs. If I buy studs, I'll usually have them put on leverbacks by a local jeweler. Leverbacks never bother me at night.
