I bought some jade earrings from China on ebay----

With 14K posts , 10mm ball stud earrings. I got light blue,lavender and red jade. Also got a pair of rose quartz. All < $5 a pair with shipping included. I already rec'd the pink and the red - still waiting for the lavender & blue. The ones I've received are lovely.

I'm thinking some of this stuff must be agate. I've bought stone bangles and stone rings from China at these very reasonable prices and the shipping was super fast. I don't know how they do it.

I found this necklace from China for $5.49. I haven yet received them (I ordered 3) I love crystal jewelry. I've also ordered several older Joan Rivers necklaces. They're not exactly dirt cheap but are a lot less expensive than they were on QVC and they're beautiful.

I buy lots of jewelry on ebay from all over the world and have been super happy with all of my items. Look for sellers with great feedback and no problems.

They are listed as jade. Are they?Who knows.

If you like it and didn't spend a lot of money - it doesn't matter if it is real jade or agate. I went to Hong Kong 20 years ago with my family, I went to a 'reputable' jade store and chose a bangle which was unusual. My dad bought it for me as a souvenir of this trip. Several hundred dollar was spent. Over time, the color faded - actually the photo's color is enhanced and it looked like that when I bought it but in real life, it is much faded and doesn't shine as real jade does. It is dull but I still wear from time to time bc of the significance.

Real good jade is expensive

We have a little shop in our town that sells jewelry really cheap that she buys on ebay. I have bought a few things things from her, but they in no way are the quality you would expect from QVC or a fine jewelry store.
