Question About Color Of My New Coral Ring

The pictures on Evine showed the stone to be a homogeneous medium salmon pink color, but mine is a pale spotty peach & cream. Does coral normally have varied color in one stone like this? Other than that, I really like the ring, thanks.

Yes, I have many coral pieces, a lot from Evine and some are paler, some spotty, some deep colored. That being said, I love them and have kept them all.

Yes, coral comes in a range of color from light coral to a very deep coral. I've only seen uniform color in jewelry. Probably because customers might not wanted uneven or spotty color in jewelry. Return if you don't like it. I wouldn't want coral in spotty or uneven coloring even if it is natural.

I have Lee Sands coral necklace,bracelet & earrings and they are all solid pale orange color , consistant and no patchiness.

Only the naturally colored coral can have variations, spots, blotches,etc. The one used by Evine is artificially dyed and therefore should be more or less uniformed. Can you exchange your ring? I would be annoyed by it, apparently you are too if you asked about it. Sorry
