Anyone have the Cartier Love bracelet??? I am curious how it wears

I am thinking about getting the very talked about Cartier Love bracelet!

I am concerned, however, how it will wear if you don't take it off for showering or gym activity---given how difficult it is to screw and unscrew.

Does anyone else have it and could please let me know if it has to be really "babied" or it can really be left on all the time like the sales associates keep telling me???

Years ago Kathy and Judy sold one very much like this,but was two tone. I own it and wear it often and like it very much. And it was 14 kt.

Does it screw on like the Cartier one?

That's what I am concerned about.... you need a small screw driver to take it off and put it on--which is hard if you don't have someone to help you....

It's been around for years and I even think David Venable has one like the one I am considering!!

One of the things I like about mine it does not screw on. The idea was that your sig other had the screw driver.

I don't own one yet, but it's on my wish list! David Venable wears one. Jill Martin has 3 or 4 of them on her wrist! They are meant to remain on the wrist. I'm sure it will be just fine. I wear gold bracelets that I never take off and they still look beautiful. If you get one, wear it and enjoy!

SInce I am single I was thinking of getting one as a symbol of loving myself!! But then I was concerned about needing to take it off from time to time!!

Lot of celebs have them too!

I really like the white gold one... And walk by a Cartier store on my way to the gym every day so it's really tempting me!! LOL

Getting it on and off required someone to be home whenever I wanted to wear it. I don't wear "signature" jewelry @JasoninBoston. If you do, then it is probably fine to wear it all the time.

Too rich for my blood but my bff has one, it was a gift from her boyfriend. Her's was either 14k gold or 18k gold and no "babying" was required. Just like there's no "babying" required for our wedding bands. She wore hers constantly for about 10 years, until they broke up.

If you are in the NYC area there is a flea market in LI and the vendor sells these bracelets with the little screwdrivers. They are knock offs but they look real

I bought one in 2001, it was screwed on in the store in Tokyo and it's stayed on ever since.

Mine is white gold and alternating diamonds. I bought the white gold because my Rolex is mostly white gold but if I were to buy it again, I'd probably buy yellow gold this time.

The white gold on mine is starting to turn very slightly yellow on the very edges. No-one else can see it but since I intend to wear this forever, eventually it will show. I know I could have it replated but I don't want to take it off!

I still absolutely love it and it's like being in a little club. Other wearers comment on it when they spot it, show me theirs and we swap our acquisition stories!

One lady did tell me that everyone she met had a story where the screw loosened and they nearly lost it but that's never happened to me nor anyone else I've asked since. I don't know what to make of that. When I bought mine, the shop assistant fitted it and began turning the screw and asked if I wanted my husband to finish it. I did and maybe my husband fastened it extra tightly?!

There is also a cuff version, if you want the ability to take it off easily.

I checked on EBay for these and imho the real ones are ridiculously expensive for what they are, however there are many mexican knockoffs for under $100.
