I wrote a review and I'll tell you here that this does Not come with a sterling chain as shown! The pendant is wonderful but there was a "costume jewelry" chain with mine and it had a lobster claw clasp Not as shown.

I really believe QVC should have this info in their description and photos. Forgive me if I don't come back as I will be taking a break form the boards.

@Jeannie29 That's what I thought so I spoke with a sweet woman at the office of the president. She explained that it was shipped from the vender and that only the pendant was supposed to be sterling? That's not how I took the description but she did offer me two solutions so I took one of them. Thanks for your suggestion and post!

The description says pendant and chain, sterling. I would assume the chain is sterling as well. Perhaps they need to update the description.

This is unfortunate. I have never received an Or Paz pendant with a costume jewelry chain. I love Or Paz and I truly hope this is a mistake.

Hopefully, Danny sees your review and if it's correct, he rethinks this offering. This pairing if correct doesn't make sense. It can't be given as a gift or bought by anyone that doesn't have a sterling silver chain already.

It could be that the powers that be wanted to keep the price at a certain point and this is a compromise. Either way, if Or Paz is trying to segue into Men's jewelry on QVC, this is not how to do it successfully.

Its very concerning to read that this type of deception is taking place. Years ago I bought a Sterling denim lapis ring that soon wore on the sides where my adjoining fingers rubbed it, and it clearly was plated mystery metal. QVC has pulled so many nasty tricks recently that their trust factor is very low.

I just received J351374 Or Oaz pendant and chain that was on backorder. I loved the pendant but something is off with the chain. The description says sterling silver but the chain looks cheap and certainly not sterling. It has a strange color to it. I put the pendant on another chain, but really disappointed in the chain.

@Marny54I just looked at it and that chain (in the photo) looks sorta like what I got. The hallmark on it says Italy & 925 but it was meant to decieve. I believe it is jewelr's medal/junk. Neither of us can read the hallmark on the one I got but your photo shows it.

QVC needs to address this as it is false advertizment.

A few years ago I purchased a 14k figaro chain form Ko&l's and it was a brassy color. I took it to a gold & silver place that tested it with a magnet and it was fake! Koh&'s took it back and put it right back in their case to sell! Lesson learned on where to buy gold.

May I suggest you call QVC? Thanks for writing.

I think it's almost certain that you just got a heavily oxidized silver chain.

I've had three dark grey silver chains like this from Or Paz.

They cleaned up OK.

Thanks for writing. I was sure this chain was not sterling or even plated. A lady who works at the office of the President at Q spoke with me and said it was not a sterling chain but the pendant was. I hope they change the graphics to relay this to their shoppers.
