Question About Gemstone Stretch Bracelets - What The Heck Is That?

Many times in the presentation of gemstone stretch bracelets, especially if it's a set, one of the bracelets will have a little silver thingy in it. There was one on one of the trio of Imperial Pearls stretch bracelets I got last year. To check out what I mean, look at the video of the Top Find, J354165, Set of 3 10.0mm Gemstone Bead Stretch Bracelets. Right at the beginning, the blue trio shows the silver thing on the middle bracelet. The first minute of the video shows all 3 sets have this on one of the bracelets. Does anyone have a clue?

@grammarqueen Shanus here. Sometimes a silver spacer bead is used to cover the knot where the 2 ends of elastic are tied. Usually a tiny drop of glue is also placed on that knot to keep it intact.
