Hagit new items

Get so disappointed when I see a brand new Hagit ring on line and when I click on it, it is only available in say size 6 and 7, or maybe even only one size. What's with this I wonder? Why do they not come in in all sizes? Assuming at some point they will be available?? Anyone else notice this?

@just wonder Is it possible that others saw it first and ordered the other sizes? I find it odd that any jeweler would only make 1 or 2 sizes in rings.

Which ring? I saw one new ring under "Hagit new", but it was available in all the usual sizes. I'd hate to have missed one, since I love Hagit's designs.

It was a bold ribbon like ring with a swirl of rubies. There is a huge matching cuff still on line, I believe, but when I first saw the ring it was only in size 7 with size 9 showing but x'd out. Last time I looked it was not even showing at all now.

Jewelry stores that carry expensive rings carry only one size. They size it for you for free. They can't afford to stock deep inventory.

@depglassDavid Yurman and some other designers want their rings sent back to them for sizing. Many of their cable design rings can’t be sized by a jeweler without ruining that.

I quit buying expensive rings when I discovered QVC and the rest of the bunch. I bet my local jewelers cringe when I walk in with another alteration of my local auction finds.

It's hard for me to believe people still go to jewelry stores to buy. I would go to a jeweler if I was buying a diamond engagement ring, but that's probably it. My niece worked for a large jewelry chain when she was in college and she told me they mark up the merchandise 400%.

It is true. I had Yurman ring ruined. Eventually they just exchanged for the same one bigger size. But the sizing job was terrible. I believe Yurman produce their ring in different sizes.

I once got a diamond cocktail ring from a then well known and nicer department store. They apparently had a contract with some other entity to do sizing. When I went to pick up the ring it was positively lopsided, as the sizing job was so poor. Although I'm not much a fan of QVC's jewelry as I was years ago, the one advantage to those entities who offer rings in a variety of sizes is availability for a wide range of customers without having to deal with sizing.
