Hi all. Please do not think I've lost my mind!
I read reviews where hundreds of women send back Diamonique and Absolute rings because they look "fake" in big carat sizes.
Would it be crazy if large-carat CZs were created with INTENTIONALLY-PLACED inclusions, like a very, very small black carbon spot? I was thinking a slightly-included three-carat ring might look more believable than a completely flawless one? Just a thought!
Wait...Maybe I HAVE lost my mind! 😊

That's why I never liked green czs that are suppose to look like emeralds...they can't make them with inclusions so they look like real emeralds which have a glow to them because of their inclusions.

Huh???? LOL I've returned honker sized cz jewelry and it's not because the stone is too perfect...LOL. They are gorgeous and bright and sparkly but the larger carat weights scream "I am a fake diamond!!!!!!". Everyone who knows me, knows that I can't afford a 4 or 5 or 6 ct diamond and even a large stone like that with fake inclusions would be beyond my budget. Also, I don't know if you know what inclusions are but you need a loop to see them and no one I know takes out a loop to inspect my diamonds. Even mall stores that sell promotional grade diamonds sell "eye clean" diamonds. Meaning the inclusions are not visible with the naked eye. I prefer cz's in realistic (for me) carat weights......and then I say the piece was passed down to me from my mom or my aunt.

A good quality diamond is NOT grey. It is pure white and sparkles in blues and yellows.Sadly, those are, for the most part, heritage diamonds now, because what is being mined is no where near the quality diamonds used to be.Because my Grandfather was a jewelry designer I an fortunate to have inherited some beautiful vintage diamonds, and there is nothing sold today that compares.Give me a small but perfect vintage diamond over the big , gaudy and not nearly as pretty and sparkly, diamonds found in the stores now a days.

No this would not help. They look fake because the wearer knows they are not real and would not be able to afford a real stone like that. The fakeness of the stone has to do with its size and who wears it. Also real diamonds have a different sparkle to them but sometime only a jeweler can tell the difference.
