There is something about her jewelry I don't care for. It has to do with the color of the metal. I don't think I have ever seen that color on any piece of jewelry ,but hers. It doesn't look like silver or gold to me, but kind of a green color ,almost like it's tarnished

I am sure I am in the minority, because it looks to me like she must sell heaps of it.

I have a couple of pins, which are beautiful. But, the majority of her line is just too big for my taste. Her staff on her own website are rude and they cancel your order a few days later stating that a certain pin is not available. If you email her company, they never respond. Not a good way to do business.

There is something for everyone, Cherry. Heidi's pieces are set in what looks like a bronze-tone or brass-tone metal. It goes well with gold colored hardware on a handbag and shoes, or with gold zippers or buttons on clothing. There are certain pieces she makes that definitely call to me despite the fact that I am primarily a silver-loving person, who wears silver jewelry with silver-toned hardware on my accessories almost exclusively. For instance, I have a siam red crystal Heidi Daus Chinese dragon pin that is extraordinary on a cardigan, scarf, or jacket. I get compliments galore, whenever I wear it. I also have, and love, a blue and green crystal articulated jellyfish necklace by Heidi Daus, which is perfect for summer, and the shore, and for going to an aquarium!

The detail of some of her pieces can truly be awe-inspiring in their originality and Asian (dragons, geishas, pagodas, and symbols), nature-based (dragonfly, butterfly, flower, animal, etc.), or mythical creature theme (like her Griffin pin), and when seen close-up and in person, they approach sculptural art, with their cultural accuracy, and their 3-D depth.

Just sayin'. And I am someone who never thought I would like or ever want any of her pieces due to the color of metal/material she uses. That said, I don't feel drawn to every single piece she makes, not by a long shot, nor do I feel I need a collection of her pieces.

I am sure they are well made ,and popular. I just find the color is not for me. I am a gold or silver lover..

It looks as if pins are making a come back again For all who have her jewelry ,no offense is intended. Wear it in good health and happiness

It’s too big for me and way too expensive for costume jewelry. I’d rather buy gold or silver with natural stones than brass and glass.

Some pieces are pretty though.

@Carmie some of Joan Rivers pins are in her price range too. Fashion jewelry isn't cheap, and if it's well made ,it will last a lifetime

I am not a fan of costume jewelry for me. I have been collecting the real deal since I was in about the third grade.

I actually do own one piece of costume jewelry and have had it for years. It is a breast cancer bow pin with pretty pink stones imbedded in a gold colored metal. It Is a Kenneth J. Lane piece. It is beautiful, well made and still looks like new. I get compliments when I wear it...usually on a winter coat.

I do like the look of some costume jewelry, but just can’t bring myself to buy it. That little voice in my head keeps saying...save your money and buy the real thing.

Right now, I have so much jewelry and hardly ever wear any of it. I used to be a jewelry addict, but I lost my passion. I wear the same white gold hoop earrings and a big white gold byzantine necklace, my wedding set and a diamond anniversary ring that my DH picked out and purchased for me. I wish the stones were smaller, (my ring size is 4.5) but didn’t want to hurt his feelings, so I wear it. I never take my everyday jewelry off. The rest of my stuff is collecting dust, except for a special outing when I change things up a bit.

I love Heidi's use of color and crystals. Some of the combinations are exquisite. I do agree that most of her stuff is too big and costs too much. She had some bangles in all colors (one color for each bangle) and matching 1" hoop earrings this week that I loved! The earrings are on sale still for $29. They have sort of a vintage-y tarnished gold metal that I loved. I don't wear bangles ever because they're not comfortable, and I really don't wear any of my existing jewelry, so I don't buy it anymore. I have a butterfly ring from her line for my middle finger that's not too large (about 1/2" top to bottom) but made up of tiny crystals of every color in the rainbow. I do love that, though I rarely wear it.

I sometimes watch her shows and like a lot of her pieces but they are too BIG for me. Think they work for a lot of people. I did buy her holiday lantern pin from The Bay and paid double from when it was orginally on-air. It is big but looks great on a winter coat

I've only ever bought one of her pieces, and it's beautiful. But I've yet to wear it. I do love to watch her shows. She's delightful to watch! And so talented.

Her pieces seem to be high quality. Many of her styles are not for me but I have purchased a couple of smaller items, on sale.

I have one of her bigger wrist watches, I wouldn't wear it everyday but I like to wear it on a whim. It's so pretty.

I have some of her pins which I really like but I got them when they were the TS and you got 3 for like $99 or something. Most of them cost way too much (in my opinion) unless you can catch them on clearance.

I bought one necklace set that I found on clearance, it came with a pendant, a metal chain and a cord necklace. I liked the look of it so I kept it. When I finally tried wearing it out, I found the metal chain to really irritate the back of my neck. So I guess I had an allergic reaction to whatever it was made out of. I've never had a reaction to jewelry before so that was surprising. I donated the chain necklace but kept the cord and pendant which I haven't had a problem with. But now I am cautious about buying any of her necklaces. I might try one where it is mostly beads.

I do think she has some pretty things but most of them are just too fancy for my lifestyle!

I love many of her designs and always receive compliments when I wear them to events. I have had wonderful experiences with their customer service as well. They seemed genuinely interested in making everything right. I'm a very happy customer.

Her pieces are stunning.......but way too big for me. I have one bracelet, and I have to wear it OVER a long-sleeve top. It's still too big, and spins around my wrist (and yes, I bought the "small" size).

I have several of her pieces which I really like and enjoy wearing; however, I think that most of her line is rather gaudy and over the top.

I like most of Heidi's jewelry but a lot of it is too elaborate for my taste. I have a nice faux turquoise bead necklace of hers as well as a faux pearl triple strand necklace that I bought on clearance at TSC in Canada last year. Both are well made and the packaging it comes in is very nice too. I did send back a faux pearl bracelet that wasn't well designed though, the one side of the floral design stuck out too much on the wrist and would catch on clothing.

Most of her jewelry is bigger than I like for my personal taste but she was one of the few designers that made pins so I have bought several of them. They are pretty big too but I enjoy wearing them.

I enjoy her shows too they are just fun to watch.

She is really popular on HSN, there seems to be a lot of collectors. Her pieces are beautiful but I feel they are large as well. I did purchase a set a few years ago, a set of pearls and a large pendant and a black cord necklace. That set is really pretty.The pendant could be worn on the cord or pearls. I was wearing the cord with the pendant and one of my friends liked it so much I gave it to her. I still have the pearls and they are lovely. There are crystals on the necklace.
