Glad you started this thread...came on to post my own RLM comment, but for some reason I don't see the "new post" button tonight?! 🤔

RLM was one of my very first pieces ever from QVC, my mom bought it for me, (while introducing me to Q one night...started something!) back in 2000....it is the solid silver "Spirit" charm bracelet...love it still. Started me collecting several of his sterling silver pcs. from Q then, love them all, still wearing them...the big, wide crinkle ring; organic set of 5 stacked rings, (wear them often) several earrings, two of his watches, wearing one today. I have lots of jewelry, and I say that only to say, I still go back and back again to my RLM classics, especially when I just want to look simply cool. His aesthetic suits me best, and is therefore my go-to, classic, clean, arty silver jewelry that looks good forever.

I loved seeing him again, I miss that he's not a regular designer on Q anymore, and I love him on with Jill, who I love watching present silver, as she loves it too, and is a great host.

ALL THAT SAID.....Please Listen Up, Q: I'm still so disappointed he no longer can do silver. I honestly don't understand it...Because silver has come down, and they do every other line in silver?? I get that it likely has to do with money, so maybe it's what he wants percentage-wise to do silver...and Q can't pay those prices and be in the price range they want to be? Don't know why.

Sorry, just can't embrace the bronze, I dunno, maybe one day if forced to...but I still love him and his designs. Like I loved that cross bracelet tonight, which I'd never gotten in silver, but just didn't want it in the bronze tonight. Feel bad to be negative about it but I know I'm not alone on that..

Funny RLM story..

I had only one pair of earrings I parted with, consigned them to a local shop...they were two-toned silver & brass. They never seemed to fall in the right place on me, hid in my long hair, and I never could get the brass polished, no matter what I tried.

I was working in a small shop, a customer came in...tall, short hair, stylishly dressed, with those fabulous earrings, sparkling on her, perfectly shiny, not a bit of tarnish.

I said..."RLM! I used to have those earrings"...after talking a bit she said she'd bought them at a local consignment shop...I realized then those were likely MY earrings! How she polished them clean, I don't know, but it made me want them again! But, honestly...they looked better on her, and it was so cool to see them come full circle back to me. I think Robert, who infuses so much spirit into his pieces would appreciate that.

RLM has not been gone; I've seen him a number of times in the past few months but always late at night. I don't know what the deal is with the lack of silver but I'm not buying bronze. He is the only person on all the channels still using it so it's presumably his choice.

I'm very irritated about one of his necklaces I bought. It's a leather cord with a large decorative ring toggle. I should have returned it but didn't. It will not stay fastened.... the bar always slips out of the ring. You'd think with all his years as a designer and silversmith, he could make a simple toggle that works. Makes me wonder if he really designs the goods on which he puts his name.

Many years ago purchased RLM solid SS ring not from Qvc. This was one of a kind created and made by RLM. Came to find out items sold on Qvc made in large numbers mass produced. Wonder if this has something to do with not holding up or laying properly. In any event agree with comments, Why no SS?

I LOVE RLM, I have one ring that I bought twice by mistake, but wouldn't part with either! I remember him saying it was like throwing a stone into the water and seeing the waves ripple . I wear that ring on my left hand and I always get a compliment or where did you get that ring. I have his disc necklace too and many other of his old pieces. Which I wear still. I to agree that I wish he would go back to silver,so much more classy and classic. Miss the old designs. Yes Jill is is spot on with her silver, love to see her when the silver shows come on.

He use to tell all spiritual stories with each piece of silver jewelry he supposedly made. How the wind or branch or earth moved him at the time of his creating the piece. I don,t recall him saying those things the last times he has been on. He was very spiritual in the past.

I watched him yesterday, thought he was coming back to what he once was. No, just bronze bronze bronze. I feel embarrassed for him.

I got all excited when I saw reasonably priced pendants the other day with Jill. Then I read the word "brass." Not remotely interested. Go back to silver.
