Costume Jewelry - where do you buy yours?

I do like real jewelry, of course. But costume is such fun and I have a huge selection! I can never get enough.

I used to buy occasionally from this site on line. They were so inexpensive, it was great. But they closed up shop.

I like single items, but I also love sets. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets.

Can anyone here say where they get inexpensive jewelry items on line?

I know there is a store called Charming Charlies that supposedly has inexpensive stuff but I don't have one near me.

There was a place at the mall years ago, they always had fun stuff to see. Now I don't much go to the mall.

Penny's had an area in their store that had some really neat stuff. Don't go there unless it's for glasses, bedding or pots and pans should the need arise.

I actually buy a lot of fun jewelry pieces from New York & Company (the clothing store). I love their earrings and they always have necklaces and braclets. It isn't high quality costume jewelry, but it serves its purpose. They do last several years.

I always go to the store to buy (I like to see those things in person), but you can certainly shop online if you want. They always have some kind of sale going on.

@AngelPuppy1 Tr y Chico's - especially if you can hit a sale. Last week they had many pieces reduced nicely. Probably still do.

I don't love Charming Charlie but they do have a huge selection and I did find that the way the store was arranged with color groupings to be very helpful. Most of the time when I'm shopping for inexpensive costume, I'm in search of a particular color.

The places I usually buy my jewelry from are Nordstrom-for Nadri, J. Crew for statement pieces--sometimes Banana Republic for statement pieces

I love costume jewelery - I have rather a large collection and pick up pieces where I see them.

My local Lord and Taylor has a great selection.

I also change out the cords for a black leather rope that I can change up to any length I want

Department stores when they have a sale. I can often find sterling at costume prices.

Lots of small boutiques and consignment shops sell new & used fashion jewelry

@winamac1. Those stores are where I find a lot of also....add Loft, Nord. Rack and my favorite is estate sale jewelry.

Personally, I think the best quality costume jewelry is from Chico's and they have crazy deals from time to time-- like all necklaces for $12.99 or $14.99, earrings at $6.99......go to their website often, as prices change on a daily basis. When you sign up for Passport savings, you get free shipping too!

ITA. Like Chico jewelry. There are also coupons in their catalogs and many times sales on the jewelry.

Ebay, Kohls, I like Premier designs jewelry and I get much of it on ebay or Poshmark. I also look for as is on QVC or I sometimes buy from HSN.

@millieshops, I also get a lot of jewelry at Chico's. I've been shopping with them for years and have only purchased like 2 pieces that didn't last long. Most everything I have bought from them is still in great condition. You can get some really good deals when they have sales. I also check the sale section of their website.

I have a lot of costume jewelry. I buy Parklane at parties or from a dealer. Can find one at the JewelsbyParklane website. I like Susan Graver, Joan Rivers. I also buy at department stores such as Macy's. I have bought Napier at Kohls.

Since I am allergic to costume jewelry can only buy necklaces and brooches from Heidi Daus at HSN or pins from JoannRivers at QVC. Above is one of my favorite ones from Heidi's Alice in Wonderland collection 🌻

Thanks a bunch for all your posts! I do shop at Kohls a lot. Most of the stores mentioned I do not have near me. I used to love Penneys for their baubles but ours closed up, same for our Macys. We don't have much around here!! As for GW, I do go in there occasionally, but ours has no jewelry that is decent at all.

Depending on what style you like, there's Shelley Cooper online, she used to sell on the shopping channels years ago. The jewelry is made here in the states and the quality is superb. I have not bought anything from her in years though. I just got a brooch from Rachel Zoe at the Q and it's very unique and well made.
