Help For Stretched Er Holes

Levears from Joyus really held up my earrings up comfortably and beautifully so my stretched holes didn't show!

Now I can wear post earrings when I find them!

Has anyone else used them?

No I bough a bag of 100 acrylic discs from Rio Grande. They work with any post and ear nut you already own and even help keep Omega back earrings snugly in place. I am allergic to some metals and have many size post earrings in my collection your earring backs show would not accommodate.

Has anyone had this problem corrected surgically?I have stretched lobes too so I would like to clip off the ecess and have a new piercing.

The Acrylic discs item 631033 are 12mm and ridged, they do not bend. There are 100 in a pack and are easily trimmed if they show behind the ear with lever toe nail clippers. I use them to keep my large Tahitian and South Sea pearl studs upright on my ear. I caught one side wearing hoops decades ago and ripped a hole. These solve the problem and you can share with your girlfriends since you will have a lifetimes worth in the package. Cost at Rio Grande, under $10.

I know someone that had it done years ago and I think they did it IN the office. They just cut the piercing to make a fresh wound and then stitched it all together. A few months later, she just had them re-pierced.

Many years ago I had the piercing in one ear repaired by a plastic surgeon. It was stretched out badly. He did it in his office and as I recall was relatively simple. I had to let it heal for three months and then he repierced it for me. I've been careful since then and neither ear has stretched out.

@CarolmI spoke to a surgeon about that once. He said a ripped ear could be repaired but not stretched holes. Maybe the one I spoke to hadn't experienced good results.
