Gem Day starts at midnight Wednesday night into Thursday. You can preview the offerings by putting "gem day" into the search bar. It appears everything is on easy pay.

Looked over page one, I've seen all or most of these items before. Looks like a clearance sale. Won't be watching, not at all interested, leaving the baubles to the rest of the ladies.

Bigger fish to fry at my home tomorrow - finishing the wall to wall carpeting job, 1st floor done in November, 2nd floor tomorrow. I cannot wait to get my bedrooms back to order!!! Can't stand sleeping on the mattress directly on the floor! Can't stand the house in such disarray! I'm very organized as is my home, this stuff makes me crazy!

The preview featured a pair of 14k gold earrings with a few pave diamonds from Judith Ripka that were $200.00 LESS on January 24th. I also noticed diamond rings that were substantially less last year at the end of the year. Strange..... considering I thought Gem Day was going to be presentations at a reduced price.

I'm thrilled that there's an entire day devoted to it -- first Gold Day, then this, then Big Bonanza Silver Day. They are at least attempting to listen and act on their customers' wishes.

That multi-sapphire bangle is mine! Hoping to see some other treasures tomorrow, too -- will be taking some sneak peeks while working from my home office. When you work for yourself, your boss can be a pain, but I think "she" will cut me some slack tomorrow.

Sammycat, I completely agree with you QVC is listening to their customers and bringing back the prgramming that we loved about QVC such as gold, silver, and gem days with quality jewelry in a wide range of prices so everyone can find something that they want.

Did QVC replace their CEO or something because I feel they are starting to listen to us here about everything.

Well, of course I'm going to be out of town, but I did go look at the preview--thanks, Kachina! That sapphire bangle is a beauty, but I'm not really a silver fan. I might make an exception in this case, though, because I have some other rainbow sapphire pieces that would look wonderful with it. The show stealer for me was the baby pink spinel enhancer. That's a stone that is hard to come by and enhancers are so versatile! It is a cute design, and that one is calling my name.

I kinda like the blue chacedony earrings, too. Not a stone you see in gold very often. Anyway, those are the two I think I might jump on. I thought there was a nice variety of choices at different prices. I'm pleased at the selection

I am surprised and disappointed at the prices. On Gold Day I purchased 3 gem stone rings. Today, on Gem Day, the prices for those rings are a lot higher. This does not make sense to me. I would think the prices would be better for gemstone jewelry on Gem Day. Happy I purchased on Gold Day and didn't wait.

@BlingQueen022, just wanted to congratulate you on beating your lymphoma! That is exciting. I cannot imagine how relieved you were to hear that news.

You definitely need to treat yourself to something special. You deserve it. Congratulations.

I have so many relatives fighting cancer that it warms my heart to read a success story.

I am home today due to the storm and watching all the shows. So far nothing for me. My DD wedding is around the corner... I paid for her dress alteration yesterday and almost had a stroke from the price of it!!!!!

That sapphire bangle looks pretty, sapphire is my birthstone. I have a multi gem rainbow tennis bracele(semi precious) set in silver that I got ages ago from the Q, it looks similar. Not as nice as sapphires. Congrats to everyone buying that bangle.

sleeping beauty, etc. Lovely set with geodes. MB is so genuinely excited.

Like a step back in time.

Would have purchased Opal bracelet, or Ammolite ring, but am concerned how to keep silver clean without damaging stones.

@Trinity11The only price we get to pay - whether it's QVC, the airlines, a restaurant, etc. - is the price available at the moment.

Even though I understand why companies do it, I especially hate those price swings during the same day! I won't even name the guilty parties - some make it very obvious what they are doing, some try very hard to hide that they are charging a different price at different times of day.
