topic Turquoise Monaco Question in Jewelry

I just recently received the Turquoise Monaco ring. I'm a bit uncertain about it. It's pretty, and has only a few small markings. However, the stone seems almost like plastic -- but that may be the way it is polished. It's a good ring to wear everyday. I do like it, so I'll wear it for awhile before I decide to return it.

I'd like your opinions about this ring. Thanks.
