Tiny pendants on very short chains -- Anyone know where you can buy these?

I have been seeing women on t.v. wearing very tiny little pendants on really short chains --- the pendant fits in the hollow of the neck -- and I think it looks so pretty!

I have been looking for inexpensive ones --- costume ones or sterling silver. I can't find any. Of course, I'd love a real gold one but that's probably not in my budget right now.

Anyone have some sources as to where these might be purchased?

@AngelPuppy1, google "delicate necklaces". Etsy has some you may be interested in. Also Dogeared brand - a bit more expensive, but they have a 15% off first order.

Those always caught my eye too. The gal on Law & Order wears ones that about her cause. Ann on NBC use to wear one. I really like them too.

I've been on the hunt just about all year for one. Found a few, but the chains were too delicate. Finally found a nice sterling chain at a local jeweler. Now that I have the chain, I've found a few sliders/pendants to wear on it. I'm in SC. My favorite is the one I'm wearing today...our state symbol. I had to get a 15" chain in order for it to fit in the small of my neck. Another option I considered was buying a longer chain and having the jeweler shorten it. That might work for you.

I have the tiny cross that MariLyn from philosophy has. It also comes in a cross. They are called 'Tiny Treasures' and are available at Neiman Marcus, I believe

These are in gold and or white gold and have tiny diamonds.

I really like the look too. I have bought several, including the star diamonique linked above, but they are mostly 16 inches which lays in the middle of my chest on me. I would have to have +/- 15 inches. Everything is made so big! To the person who suggested taking it to a jeweler to resize, how much does that cost?

I have a bunch of those tiny charm and I honestly can't recall where I bought any of them. I've had them for years. You might want to look for bracelet charms or earring charms and have them altered to wear on a chain.

This morning, I took out my tiny silver elephant and put it on my neck wire.

I have 3 that are beautiful. The findings are so small I have to fight to get them fastened. I have been looking for magnets but so far even though they are not big they are not small enough to attach to the original findings. The original as chain can not be removed on any. I may have to take them to a jeweler and have them special made. I like the petite for everyday especially.

II bought mine from Dogeared website and had so many to select from. I bought mine without chain as I have so many chains already.Check other websites some offer pendants only which would be cheaper....

Thank you all for your replies! I am going to check out all the places you suggested! I just think this is such a sweet and pretty look!

I would have to get a very small chain also -- maybe 14 or 15 inch. All the other chains just are too long.

I am going to start scouting around the malls to see what I can find, too!

Maybe sometime I can talk DH into getting me a dainty little gold one!!!
