Do you wear your jewelry around the house?

Since I retired, I only seem to wear my rings and bracelets when I am going somewhere. Sometimes if I am going shopping alone, I don't wear anything 'good' for fear I will be a target.

Hubby made the comment yesterday that "Why did I want that Pandora bracelet for our Anniversary, when never wear it." I have worn it, but probably only 3 times.

Maybe I should wear my jewelry everyday unless am out gardening or scrubbing floors....

I always wear my gold and diamond wedding ring and usually wear earrings around the house. I'm also retired so my "uniform" is made up of light jeans plus a pretty tee in summer and heavy jeans with a sweater in winter. I wore jewelry to work but now my only jewelry opportunities occur when I go out to dinner or when I go on vacation. I stopped buying expensive pieces a few years ago since I have more than enough.

I wear my rings, watch, earrings and usually a necklace every day unless I am sick. I put a bracelet on if I am going out for lunch, shopping, dinner, or something special.

funny that this topic came up because I do wear jewelry everyday when I'm home, and I wondered if anyone else did that! I hardly go out, and I have lots of jewelry and love buying them. if I wore them only when I go out or save them for special occasions, they would be a waste of money. so I enjoy them everyday and that makes me happy 😊

I don't wear my jewelry around the house, only when I go out.

When I'm home, I'm usually gardening, cooking or cleaning and jewelry gets in the way.

ETA: I haven't worn a watch since the day I retired, just don't need to.

No but when I go out to lunch maybe three times a week, I do....I wear my Apple Watch to the gym to monitor my fitness output. I wore mostly gold when I worked now I favor silver....so I am giving most of my gold to my niece if she ever gets a day off! I'd like to see it used rather than sitting in my jewelry boxes.

I don't take my jewerly off at night -- only rings and big earrings. So, I always have something on. Sometimes I'll adjust according to my outfit or that day's activity, but, again, I'll probably have those items on until I adjust again.

Rarely wear jewelry anymore....and don't purchase it unless it has significant meaning.

When I get home I change clothes and remove all jewelry except my wedding ring and earrings, if they're hoops or studs. I am a gardener and crafter and it's better for me and the jewelry.

Today with the temperature in the 90's and the humidity high, just the thought of anything beyond a pair of hoops makes me uncomfortable even if I go out of the house. In the house? I'm alone here - I'll add some color to my face once I've finished my coffee, but jewelry is unlikely.

I wear my watch, wedding rings at home, out and about, no matter what I am doing. A watch is a part of me, has been since about age 12. You know how some are about their make up that is how I am my watch. I don't take off my rings for yardwork, camping,housecleaning. If I remember, I will put on earrings, and a pendant.

Boy I sure do! I love jewelry and have since I was a girl. I see me in the mirror, I look down at my hands (rings) and I enjoy the "art" collection of it. It's a sense of joy that it brings me. I don't collect anything else now. I'm selective. Sometimes, I just look on line.

So I wouldn't risk wrecking it and use my head as to when/not to wear it.

No. Never.

Since retireing I hardly remember to even wear anything jewelry wise even when I go out... Jewelery has just become not important to me anymore where years ago I was so crazy into jewelry!

Other than the stack rings and bracelets that never come off. Jewelry is the first thing off then my shoes!! I do put my watch back on each day since I would feel naked without it. But I can go three days without earrings if I am taking a three day week-end.

Oh my yes! Even if I'm in my jammies during the day I'll have some jewelry on. It's a must for me. Jewelry just makes everything look better!

I love jewelry, and have a lot of great pieces. I don't wear any of it while walking, gardening, or cleaning during the day. But I do put jewelry on when I run errands, go to lunch, or go to my grandchildren's activities. I try to plan to go somewhere 4-5 times a week. Otherwise I just get "cabin fever".

Yes, bracelet...necklace and rings...everyday....24/7........funny..i don't wear earrings...i have been looking for a pair in Diamonique for everyday wear and haven't found anything i like....my other pieces all have Diamonique in them...so I want something to match....

I wear a pair of earrings most times except bedtime. Other than that, I want to keep my jewelry clean so I refrain from wearing it around the house. When I go out, which is most days, I wear my wedding band, diamond solitaire, watch, earrings and sometimes a diamond solitaire necklace.
