LOVE JEWELRY? WHAT TYPE?

I love my jewelry! I have really learned to love pearls since I have matured and I have alot, some are real and some are not! I especially love white pearls! My favorite metal is gold but I wear some silver also! I enjoy colored beads in the summer and all my necklaces are between 20 inches and 32 inches!! Not a lover of colored stones!! I also love bracelets, but not charm bracelets. I lean more towards bangles! I wear hoop earrings every day!!

I like big bold, sterling jewelry in contemporary, artsy designs if I can find them. I like large gemstones but not so big they get in the way. Pearls are my least favorite jewelry. I see them as being wishy washy with no personality. They are a birthstone for June, my birth month, and it always makes me mad that I got stuck with THEM.

I've always had a love affair with turquoise but I also love rhodolite garnet. Have plenty of both.

I love semi precious stones handwrapped in wire and artisan pieces.

And I wear a lot of silver and white gold. Some yellow if I have on brown.

I'm not a jewelry person, so anything I buy has to have special meaning to me. I have a Nicky Butler ring with citrine and sterling silver and some milgrain metalwork that can be interpreted as either a cross or a four-leaf clover. It's sort of like a talisman, I guess, though I never wear it. Along those lines, I have a multi-colored pave ring from Heidi Daus in the shape of a butterfly. I love that too, although, again, I don't wear it.

I also like the Xavier pieces at HSN because they're very Victorian. I have a couple of their rings with a lot of fancy metal work and small stones, but I wish he'd make them in colored stones. The look of diamonds is too formal. Xavier had the most stunning watch a couple of years ago that was deeply discounted (I'd watched it for quite some time), but I passed on it because it was all fake diamonds and just looked too fancy for daily wear. I would have jumped at it had it been multi-colored like Heidi Daus's stuff.

My favorite is a pair of chunky gold hoop earrings from Technibond. They're only a 3/4" hoop and IIRC 1/4" wide. They're nice and chunky, and I love them although I also never wear them either.

I don't buy jewelry anymore because I ask myself if I will actually wear it, and the answer is no.

I love colored gemstones. Hard to say which is my favorite. I usually save up for a certain stone for a while, then shop until I find exactly what I'm looking for .

I also love the creations of our local goldsmith. I have an asymmetrical gold bracelet made by him and I really like that it doesn't roll around.

Goodness, how I love jewelry! Over time my tastes have changed somewhat--I went through a ring period, a pearl period and so on. I'm a gold girl and in recent years I have started adding rose and white gold to my collection. I've loved colored gemstones for years and there is always something new to add to your collection in gemstones. It isn't so much a matter of collecting it--I only buy things I can wear so my tastes tend to the classic and understated. Brooches are my favorite pieces, but almost all jewelry can find its way into my heart.

Love your collection, especially your labradorite, beautiful. I am finding I like chunky jewelry. Love Michael V's pieces, some of Barbara Bixby. Emma Skye stainless steel. I like jewelry that has some weight to it but comfortable.

A girl can not have enough jewelry! It seems anyhow - with me!!

i am a white metal girl - white gold for my diamond jewelry, sterling silver for everything else.

I especially like bracelets - used to be rings, but, I seriously do not have enough fingers!! Bracelets you can stack on your wrist and it looks fab - I am a 1,3, or 5 person when it comes to decorating and this works well for my bracelets too!!

I used to to like just silver/ no stones - now, I am into stones it seems. London Blue is a favorite of mine. Love that deep rich blue! I pretty much like the blues and the pinks - like aquamarine and pink tourmaline, except for Tsavorite garnet - love that green!

I collect cross pendants - from just plain silver to Gems En Vogue (lovely gems and designs). I will not even say how many cross pendants I actually have - let's just say quite a few..., but, their all great - from simple silver to more ornate with gems - love every one!!

So - yep, I LOVE jewelry!!! I am a picky picky person when it comes to my jewelry - from the stones to the metal work - I expect top notch gems with good cuts and excellent craftsmanship on the metal work. My daughter says I am a bit of a jewelry snob - ha, she is so right on that one!! I will wear jeans and a tank, but yet my jewelry will work it's magic and pull it all together for one fabulous look!!

My first love has always been colored gemstones, all of them. Most are set in rings so I can look at them and change daily. The old ones are set in gold, but now silver since prices have gone up so much. Not a fan of fashion jewelry, own very little. Second in line of my purchases are bracelets. Third and fourth about tied are earrings and pendants, probably because I can't see them on. The few diamonds I own came because of bargain prices at auctions.

I love real gemstones set in 14k. I am lucky to have many pieces from years ago when gold wasn't so expensive. And nothing beats real gemstones....none of the opaque or rock stuff. And I love my pearls. I love my gold bracelets, necklaces, chains, and pendants too.

I prefer classic necklace styles with pendants in gold or silver. I own a few costume necklaces too. I have more necklaces than anything. I do not wear large statement necklaces. I always wear a ring on the ring finger of my right hand and a watch everyday.

I have a nice collection of bracelets, but I rarely wear them to work as they get in my way. I also have several pins - mostly animal themed that I wear once in awhile. I am not into gemstones except a few birthstone pieces and my diamond pieces. I don't own any earrings - don't like things in my ears.

Yeah!! I love jewelry but, I am very choosy in matter of jewelry. I don’t like gold, I like silver and platinum jewelry and I often used to wear it. But in jewelry, I have fond of only earrings and bracelets with an ethnic touch. I have a big collection of earrings. I like to wear rings and bangles too, but in special occasions only.
