topic how do I use a hobo style? in Shoes

I usually use an organizer style handbag, the type with the wallet on the side. I bought a big hobo style bag at Target with a wallet. The handbag leather is so soft. Now my question-it's a black hole. Every time I'm looking for kindle, keys, whatever, I need to set the bag down and root around looking for it. How do you find stuff? If it continues to be a black hole it may be on it's way to the donation box.
