topic Birki's and Dry Feet! in Shoes

I love my Birkis, but does anyone else happen to notice they totally dry out the bottoms of your feet when you wear them? If I use lotion/cream on the bottoms of my feet before wearing them, it sort of turns the footbed darker. Yikes! I love my Birkis, but I hate my dry feet.
