topic Bunions-OW! Brands best for bunions, esp pumps? in Shoes

I have painful bunions, which is a stupid name for such a painful condition, isn't it?!

I have learned to avoid shoes that seem to hurt the most, such as pumps or fully-closed-in shoes, but I really would like to find a brand & pump style that won't hurt & that I can wear. I have found that sandals that have soft leather straps are best, but sometimes I want a closed-in shoe without it looking like it is an old-lady shoe.

My fav brands are: SAS Shoes (San Antonio Shoes), only a few careful selections of Clarks (because I have long toes, they have a short toebed usually), Aerosoles, Walking Cradles.

Does anyone else have this issue, & have you found brands that work great for you?
