I guess it would depend on if you wear socks, how thick & manufacturer guidelines. They usually indicate to size up or down. Ugg makes a wider toe box imo so I size down.

I wear a 61/2 shoe, I love boots and order them online. Some boots only come in whole sizes, in Uggs I can wear a 6. I was just wondering is it better to size up or down?

I think it depends on several things (brand, your foot size, space for orthotic or not, personal preference in fit feeling, etc).....so I don't really think anyone can answer this question for you. It pays to be familiar with how the sizing tends to run in different brands.....

Uggs are the only brand of boots that I size down on, all other brands I size up.

Clarks run big so I stay at 6 1/2. I also wear size 6 in UGGS. I always wear 6 1/2 in sandals.
