Revitalign vs Vionic

I have decided my knees need to move to more supportive shoes. I've been looking at both Revitalign and Vionic. Vionic seems to be more expensive across the board. Does anyone have any real-life, as in actually wearing, recommendations as to whether one brand is better than the other? I'm willing to spend the extra money but only if one is demonstrably better than the other. Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I have tried both brands and for me it is Vionic. While going through PT after spinal fusion surgery it was recommended I try them. They made a big difference. I keep an eye out on Zappos for a better price.

I have tried Revitalign but there is something in the insole that never was in the correct place for my feet.

I have also tried Brooks. They aren't bad but it is still Vionic for me.

Finding shoes that help with joint isues is not easy, i think you need to find a store try many brands, i happen to like dansko shoes, i have not had luck with vionic, but bought the revitalign shoes that were a special ,not this last one ,but before that one.NUEVO

I'd have mixed feelings on Vionics, but, in fairness, they've improved over the years compared to when QVC first introduced them.

I am currently wearing a pair of Revitalign lined loafers as house shoes. I actually just bought them earlier this month. Today I wore them to go out and kept them on all day. They're nice. I ordered a pair of Revitaligns yesterday.

I have tried every shoe brand out there.

If you have bad knees, bone on bone or osteoarthritis, no shoe is going to bring you much comfort.

If the pain is bad enough, you need either injections and when they no longer work, knee replacement.

I use to buy a pair of Vionic slippers every year. They had a todays special for a couple of years. They haven't had a Todays special for 3 years. The price of vionic is very pricey. They don't even have the choice of slippers they use to have. They have a different brand and I don't know if they are any good.

I wear Alegria. I have spurs under each achilles tendon on each foot and I never have any pain, but they are backless shoes.

I have worn both brands and prefer Revitalign. I have many pairs and they never fail me except sometimes the TSV deals. I have found inconsistencies in some of the TSV Revitalign Shoes. My sister also wears them and loves them.

@Lisamartha. I've tried every supportive shoe around and don't think either Vionic or Revitalign are particularly good quality. Vionics are not consistent in their footbed and in some, the arch is painfully high.

My choice in that type of shoe is Orthoheel.

I have tried Vionic, sandals, and they didn't wow me. I really like Revitalign for comfort, but my favorite, like you @luvmybeetle, for comfort is Alegria. I tend to wear Revitalign sandals more.

I don't have any major foot issues (just swollen ankles if I've been standing with my high boots on all day) and I wear all brands of shoes.

Vionics don't work for everyone--they are for specific conditions. I'm an "under-pronator", meaning I'm the opposite of the demos they love to show in their presentations. Who knew?!

I learned this after trying a pair of Vionics and having significant knee pain in the first few minutes of wearing them. This led me to research the situation and now I know what types of shoes to buy for the best support for my ankles/feet.

100% Vionics

For my feet, they are worth every penny.

I tried Revitalign and found them to be a joke! No support whatsoever.

That little triangle pillow, and I mean little, does nothing to support me at all.

Would never buy again.

I really think you have to look at individual styles within each brand. I have Revitalign loafers that are wonderfully supportive and comfortable, yet other revitalign sneakers that are basically Keds (flat.) Vionic quality is spotty IMO.

What suits you is so very personal. I belong to two walking groups and I think all us have different brands we swear by. Try some on in a store. Once you find it you will know. Maybe even insist on wearing it out of the store!

I tried Vionic a long time ag and I did not like how they felt on my sole.
i do like revitalign. But I think Clark's can be supportive as well as sketchers.
