topic Best Dooney bag to travel via airplane with? Color for FVL Satchel that best hides marks and ages well? in Shoes

Good evening! I'm debating which Dooney will be best to take on an airplane to travel with - the Dillen II Sac or the Florentine Large Tassle Satchel. I once had a purse wrecked in the xray machine because the strap got caught in the rollers The Florentine leather looks so lovely, but I just don't know if it will hold up to the rigors of xrays/overhead bins/etc.

Also, for those with the Florentine Satchel, is the Natural color good for hiding scratches, marks, etc? I had eye'ed the Oyster previously but given my winter coat is bright red wool coat, I was worried about color transfer

Thanks in advance!
