They need to be waterproof & a wide width.

Yes, I agree! You can't go wrong with Zappos and they have free shipping and returns.

Not sure if they have wide widths, but I wear Blondo boots in bad weather. My foot leans towards wide and they are very comfortable.

i've got a couple of pairs of WW from propet brand. One pair is short zip up and one pair that is tall for serious winter snow. WW gives me extra room for thick socks. I probably got them from zappos. I forgot i also got a pair of short duck boots for rain, again propet.

Check land's end, for them too.

I remember starting early last year to look for water-proof boots and I checked outlet stores, The Rack, and stores where I could try on. I have had Sportos before but the ones I found were not quite me. Surprisingly found perfect ones at Clarks outlet. Could not believe I never wore them out! Whenever it was bad ourside, I stayed in!
