Earth Brands And QVC Pricing..... Be careful

I see Earth brands have been slowly coming back to the Q. Out of curiosity I went to to the Earth website and surprised to see many of the shoes and sandals in the Q site are much cheaper on the Earth brand site. ( the TSV is not on the Earth site) I called QVC CS and asked if they would price match and they said no.

Just an FYI if you see a earth shoe you like check out the website site of Earth shoes first.

Also beware of styles like the TSV that have no way to adjust them. I've got Earth shoes in my usual medium width that I can't keep on my feet because there's no way to tighten the straps.

I frequently go to the brand's website (regardless of the brand) and often it has free shipping or some other incentive.

All valid points from the previous posters but one advantage of purchasing from QVC is that you get to test drive them for up to 30 days to determine if they’re the right shoe for you.

@Kachina624 I have the opposite problem with the Skechers bungee shoes. No way to loosen them. I can wear them for awhile as long as I'm up and moving around, but once I sit down for awhile they start sqeezing my feet. I really like the shoes otherwise due to the low profile.

Too risky for me to try with $5.50 S&H and $6.95 S&H to return and end up with nothing.

No thanks due to many negative reviews on their other styles, mostly due to fit.

Was all set to watch a presentation because I liked the Earth sandals pictured. Then I read a previous post saying they are not adjustable. All sandals should have an adjustable back strap in my opinion.

Earth has been sold and I feel the new owners are cutting corners. I see slight differences in the shoes that make the brand a no go for me. I tried one pair that Courtney had on a show a few weeks ago and the manmade material was so uncomfortable and thin, plus the footbeds are different. I know these TSVs are leather, but the fact that there's no way to adjust the backstrap and the fact that one of the bungees broke on Shawn's shoe last night indicates alot.

@sunsetbeach Wow. Did the shoe actually break? I don’t mind that it’s not adjustable, and I really like the yellow, so I ordered a pair, but I wish I had seen that happen. Yikes! Is there any way to view that particular presentation now? Maybe I should cancel the order…..

There was a post earlier today that has since been removed. I don't want to get in trouble for posting the title, but in essence, at midnight Shawn was showing how to unhook the button and in the process one of the bungees appeared broken and hanging down. She moved off camera and came back and it was "fixed" or she had on a different shoe. Nothing was mentioned. Earlier the video from last night was still up and I watched it, but it has been replaced now.

@sunsetbeach Hm…interesting. I did notice on a presentation this morning that the representative pointed out you could undo the button but did not demonstrate it being done. I also couldn’t figure why no posts were coming up for the TSV, especially since it’s shoes.

If you have ANY thoughts about cancelling an order, you'd better hurry!

Many items like this are orders that go directly to the vendor and they can NOT be cancelled at all!!!

At best, other items have a teeny, tiny cancellation window!

Agree, don't know of another site that takes back shoes after wearing.

@RespectLife Done and done. It’s past 6 and hardly any of the the colors/sizes have sold out. These aren’t going anywhere. I’ll wait for some reviews to come in and maybe buy them later, if I’m still inclined. Anywho, I just noticed something I’ve had on my wishlist for awhile had a price drop today. I picked that up instead…yay!

@Kachina624 you are right in that there is zero adjustability in these shoes. I tried on a pair today at the shoe store that was very similar to the TSV. I normally wear a 7 1/2 which fit, but pulled tight on the heel when I walked. The size 8 I tried were way too big.
