Oofoos shoes

Has anyone worn this brand? They have sandles on sale now at a huge savings and wondered how they are...They are a comfort shoe and might wear like Alegria. THe soles seem similar.

@bargainsgirl I wear Oofoos OOlala sandals much of the summer - but they are a recovery sandal, not at all similar to Alegria (which I also have).

OOfoos are a squishy bottom, think of making you feel off balance. Alegria has a firm bottom.

OOfoos were originally formulated for athletes to recover after running. The entire sandal is foam, and can be slick when wet. The low shoe has a canvas type fabric upper, but they can hot when outside.

I love my OOfoos sandals, have about 15 styles and colors, but they are not at all similar.

Ordered a pair of their flip flops and I couldn't return them fast enough. I thought that they would offer support and help with some knee pain. Instead, not only were they squishy when I walked, but made me feel unbalanced- like I might twist my ankle or fall. Personally I did not like them and would not try them again.

Thanks so much! I will not be buying them! I cannot wear a squishy shoe at all especially since I had a hip replacement 6 months ago. I am looking for something more supportive.

I didnt like them at all. They are squishy when you walk and I didnt feel safe in theem. Also, because of the material they were very sticky to wear, not at all pleasant.

Oofos are great if you like a lot of cushioning in your shoe- Like walking on acloud and the footbed has a structure and arch, but not dramatic like Vionic. I love their flips (Ooolala) but haven't tried other styles .

@Skyegirl21 I agree. I got a pair of their thongs this summer to wear to the pool. Not only do they provide great arch support, but I don't feel the gravel as I walk across the parking lot. I'll have to check out this sale!

I purchased a pair of Oofoos thongs a year ago, glad to hear that I am not the only one who felt off balance when wearing them, I thought it was me having balance issues, I tossed them and went back to wearing my usual Croc flip flops.

@bargainsgirl I own a pair of the OOFOS black thong sandals. I wear these in the house for cooking and cleaning. No, they are not like ALEGRIA, these are spongy feeling.

I have a pair that I love. When I first got them, I had the same reaction. Felt unbalanced when I walked, but I wore them around the house and eventually got used to them. Yes, there's a definite learning curve. I love them. They feel like big, squooshy marshmallows.
