Wide width boots

Any suggestions for a true wide width. Are bearpaws better than uggs for a wide width?

Maryland Square online has speciality widths and quality shoes. Possibly Drew shoes online. Possibly Orthofeet brand. I have the opposite, narrow heels and arthritic feet. I wish you the best of luck finding something that fits properly.

@Growing You listed the best sources. I would also add Zappos to the list. Munro used to have wide, extra-wide througjh size 14; they don't offer the wide range. I am finding limited selections among Vionic and Clark as well. I have only found one wide width style in Uggs, a pair of slippers; I find Uggs to tight in the section above the foot and below the laces.

Qvc and HSN have as many wide width boots as any other place I've seen, especially HSN. Have you checked there? Love their Sporto Boots.

SAS shoe stores have comfortable wide shoes and boots.The salespeople even try them on you and give you candy!

I own both UGG and BEARPAW boots in wide widths. I prefer wearing my BP boots and the reason is b/c the suede is permanently treated to be waterproof plus the tread on the bottom is more suited for walking on snow/ice. My UGG boots are not water repellent until I spray them with waterproofing spray and the tread is too smooth and not safe to be walking with them in the snow.
