Watching Courtney on Shoe Shopping w/Courtney instead of Jane. What's with that? Jane was on earlier this evening. Not that it really matters. I was so bored tonight and really just wanted to go to bed, but the cats have a schedule I don't want to mess up. And then those Vionic Suede Booties with the snakeskin printed heel came up. Waterproof too. I'm sure I can get some good wear out of them in Navy with jeans.

With a bit lower heel - that's one of my favorite shoe styles.

A couple of years ago (either 2018/19) - I was fortunate to find similar styles at a good price and picked up several pairs. Various brands.

I have just about every color and probably enough to last me for several more years.

Are you a Vionic shoe wearer? I only ask because I've tried a number of styles and either returned or donated them. I know a lot of ladies here love them but there is just something about them that makes my feet cry out in pain. Most comfort brands I can wear but not Vionic.

Cute booties and they do have your name written all over the style.

@lulu1 I currently have two pair of Vionics and no problem with either style. One style is a sandal style though. I thnk the thing is, you can't look at them as a comfort brand. They are more like orthotic shoes. Did you do as they say and start out only wearing them for an hour and working your way up? I have orthotics in some of my sneakers although can't wear them in the newer bungie style. Those hurt my feet after awhile regardless since I can't loosen those bungies.

My orthotics have quite a high arch on them. The chiropractor actually held my arch up while making the form. So, I was already accustomed to an arch support before I even got my first Vionics. I did have to work my way up wearing my orthotics though just like they say in the Vionic presentations.

I have tried other types of arch supports though that hurt my feet terribly, so it could be that that style shoe insert just isn't right for your feet. Luckily, what I tried that didn't work were not expensive.

The Chiro had me try Montrail inserts before getting my orthotics. I currently wear those in my yardwork shoes. I need a new pair, but I have been reading that they sold out and are no longer as good.

You are correct; I should not have referred to Vionic as a comfort brand. Yes, I do have orthotics. actually 3 pairs made by 3 different specialists. (My husband is a retired orthopedic surgeon who specialized in the foot and ankle. His practice used a number of different specialists for orthotics.) I've tried sandals, shooties and flats made by Vionic. I tried breaking them in but no matter how long I tried, the arch was always a killer.

I know you are an ice skater so you know how important fit is. As others have said, the booties you purchased are so you. I love to see your pictures. You are just darling and have the most beautiful eyes.
