@lolakimono While the shoes are not for me, I could see someone wearing a black suit with white shirt looking phenomenal in these. Wait a minute; I have the perfect black suit (jacket and pants) and a couple of white shirts... Hmmm...

I like oxfords similar to this using a more feminine form. The shape is too masculine for me, something I'd expect to see on college campuses in the 40's worn by male students. I also don't like the outsole and using different leather colors.

Love them. I picture a Kate Hepburn look with them, her type of trousers and blouse. She could pull those off beautifully.

A bit of trivia - I wore that style shoe in brown leather - for 4 years - as part of my high school uniform. I do like oxfords! One of my H.S. creative writing projects was written in the first person - title: "I am a brown oxford.."

I have one pair of Spring Step (Chopin) .... I bought a few years ago ... and made a scarf to match them.

I have a flickr image of shoes and scarf - but for I'm having a problem downloading it.

I had a couple pairs of shoes like these in the past. Reminds me the movie "Annie Hall" and the masculine trends of the 70s. Mine were a solid color though. The leather pair I wore with my pants for work. I had a tan suede pair that I loved & wore with jeans. I would consider a solid color pair again.

Very smart stylish shoe that would really set off an outfit beautifully. Tailored trousers, crisp blouse is what I envision. Love them and would get them if I was still working.

They won't be on my feet for fall! Much too masculine and clunky. But this is from a woman who doesn't like the clunky military style boots that seem to be popular, so what do I know! Haha!

I LOVE these shoes. As a matter of fact, I now own a similar style in both black and another pair in brown leather.

I like to wear tailored clothes, not always but some times and they look like the perfect accessories to my tailored clothes. Thanks for posting.
