The best part of the trip to the Outlet was Momtotwinboyz (MTTB) agreed to meet me there! We started in Coach, and it was busy, but not as crazy as we've seen it before. After a quick walk around the store we headed to Dooney. (We always go to Coach first before the line grows.) I told MTTB we should get to Dooney before someone takes the bag I came for. We walked in Dooney and started checking out the Florentine bags on the tables up front. A woman and her friend were calculating the final cost of a Flo bag after the discount. It was red so I asked her if she included the additional 25% off for a red bag and she said yes. While we're still looking at the Flo bags the same woman asked MTTB which bag looked better between the Flo satchel and the one she just picked up. I turned toward her and she's holding the red Dillen II satchel! As much as it hurt I told her I like the Dillen II better. When I turned toward MTTB she looked at my face and said "What's the matter?" I told her that was the bag I came to get! Poor MTTB felt so bad and it wasn't her fault! I was also going to check out the Flo zip sac bags, which is why I lost my way heading to the D2 satchel. But the red sac bags on display had scratches and some kind of marks on them. Marks I knew wouldn't come out.

I asked the SA if they had another red D2 satchel in the back. While she was checking MTTB was trying to convince me the D2 satchel was too big for me and I was also going to wish it had outside pockets. (She knows how much I like outside pockets). Just when I was about to agree with her the SA came out with a red D2 satchel and I stopped listening! LOL! THEN, I opened the bag and the long strap was missing! We asked about the strap and she said sometimes they're delivered that way. (I've never seen that before, and she didn't mention an additional discount for the missing strap, and I didn't ask since I'd never buy it without the strap.) We asked if she could take a strap off another bag and she said no. I watched the other women pay for, and leave with "my" D2 satchel. LOL! MTTB was trying so hard to find something else for me. She told me to ask the SA if they had more red zip sacs in the back. After the missing strap on the D2 satchel I wasn't sure if I wanted to. Finally I asked and the SA brought out a red zip sac in great condition! It really was the bag I wanted until I saw Mustang Shar's pic yesterday of the D2 satchel.

I love the size! I bought the larger "Zip Sac", not the smaller "E/W Zip Sac". It's more north/south and the outside pockets are deeper. It also has a longer strap that can be worn crossbody, or part of the strap can be removed if I want to carry it as a hobo. I switched bags in the Food Court so MTTB could see it loaded. (And I couldn't wait to carry it!) I carried it to Wal-Mart where I stopped on the way home and I was really happy I bought the zip sac!

MTTB really earned her "Shopping Buddy" badge today! LOL! She probably worked harder than the SA's, trying to talk me down off the ledge and direct me to a bag she knew was more my style. Thanks MTTB!

The Zip Sac was 30% off, plus an additional 25% off since it was red!
