Dreaming of Boots & Cool Weather

I've had enough of 110 degree weather and am anxious for fall and boots. I saw these on the Anthropologie site and thought they were cute. The heels on some are probably too high for me, but I like them. I can't wait to see what else is new in boots.

I agree with you. It's going to be another 112 degree day. I'm over it. Only thing good about it is it keeps people from wanting to go out and mingling.

Me too. I love all those boots but I'm afraid to wear any tall heels at my age. I can dream though. Most of the boots I buy are no taller than that last black one.

We're enjoying a cool respite ... currently 68 degrees ... for the next few days. That gives me hope for an early fall, although things can and do change on a dime around here.

I've already been gobbling up pre-fall and fall clothes. I'm already set in the boot and handbag department, so no worries there.

Glad you like the cool weather and enjoy boots and all that. Not me. I enjoy fall, but not what comes after! I hate having to bundle up every time I stick my nose out the door! Scraping the car, cleaning the car off, cleaning the driveway, skidding on slippery roads, etc. is not my idea of a good time. I'll take warm weather or even hot, any day!

At the end of last winter, I bought a few pairs of booties that had rally big markdown prices. Various colors in suede and smooth leather.

I’m also looking forward to cooler weather. I’m taking advantage of some pre-season sales to pick up some basics.

I'm right there with you. It's been hot and humid for weeks here in Charleston SC . I love fall the only bad thing about fall in the Carolinas is the threat of Hurricanes . Rode out Hurricaine Hugo in Sept 1989 under my kitchen table don't ever want to repeat that

Mine are ready for our winter and a planned trip north to NY and Canada for the holidays, Will probably take these on the trip. There could een be snow up there then.
