I have bought several pairs of these over the years, locally and from QVC. So yesterday a couple pair turned up from the dungeons under the furniture. Cool, I thought, something different to wear around the house from my go to Easy Spirits. One day later I've given up They still HAVE NO SUPPORT. After one broken ankle and a knee replacement on the other leg, plus a balance problem to start with, wearing Skechers is playing with fire. Off to the donation bag these all go before I end up in the hospital again. So, QVC buyers, why don't you suggest to this affordable shoe line that they come up with something with support. They can start with stiffening up the bouncy soles.

These offer me nothing.

However, they work great for my sister. She loves them. Our feet are different. By the amount they sell, many others agree they are perfect for them.

So, it's good there are choices.

I have two pair of the slip on style that have laces and look like a lace up athletic shoe. I got them at Costco a few years ago. I wore one pair when I took my long daily walk. They rubbed a huge blister on my heel as I cannot adjust the laces and apparently they are too loose. I was even wearing socks too. They are just sitting in my closet as I do not wear that style of shoe unless I am exercising.

I have had okay experiences with Skechers but I generally only wear mine on vacations. Just like the fun colors I have and that they are light weight for the summer.

They seem to perform okay but I agree with others as far as Easy Spirit's, they are so comfy and do offer better support. More reasonably priced too.

Skecher insoles are not good. I like Skecher shoes but I also take the glued down insoles out of those shoes and replace them with supportive insoles with arch support. I think Skechers cuts corners on their insoles which is too bad because they do make some nice looking shoes.

Because I have tendonitis in my left achilles, I also ripped out a piece of plastic at the back of the heel so it wouldn't rub the back of my heel. The inside lining at the heel was only glued down and easy to undo and I used pliers to rip out a plastic cresent shaped piece of plastic from the back of the heel. Now the shoes fit me better.

I stumbled on Propet brand shoes last summer after 4 surgeries ending in a fused ankle. I need a Mary Jane type shoe since my foot doesn’t wiggle any longer. I found them on Amazon but Q sells some now. styles are very ortho looking, but the Mary Janes I have have much better support than Skechers (which I wore for years).
