This style doesn't; although, the suede Softinos booties I purchased and other styles I tried last year are very well made, high quality, top notch suedes and leathers, and very comfortable.

The suede is very soft and smooth. No breaking in. Lots of cushioning inside, but very little arch support; although I can't tell if there is arch support in these Mary Janes. Softinos remind me more of comfy moccasins, not meant to be orthopedic.

They are made in Portugal, not China.

Those I purchased look like they cost $200, but with all the leather used for the booties, they were only $30 more. Of course, we are looking now at this year's higher prices for most everything.

There's not much to these Mary Janes that IMO warrants the $170 price tag or any price tag and they don't look comfortable; however, my opinion might be influenced by this style and the elastic, both I don't like.

@Kachina624 I look for comfort and support first and style second. ITA, I see none of these attributes in these shoes.

On QVC (and probably elsewhere) the asking price for bags, shoes, make-up and especially the products of every hair care vendor are obscene. I understand that might only be my opinion.

This style looks rather inexpensive. Although FL is very comfortable, (that's why they sell out so quickly) I am checking other places for the higher platform. I won't wear this and bought multiples of my favorite styles last year.

I like FL and have several pair, the tie oxford type and the platform sandals. I refuse to pay full price, I wait until they are on sale. I don't care for the Softinos at all. I like the Miz Mooz line the best, but I won't pay full price for those either.
