I don't know how Amazon does it, but I just bought a pair of low ankle shoes by Clarks for $54.99 compare to everyone else selling them for $130.00, including the Q. Below is the exact shoe color I ordered. A $75.00 savings.

These days epecially, I'm sure that Amazon orders a much, much larger quantity from the manufacturers than QVC does.

The larger quantity ordered, the lower the price.

@KingstonsMom I believe you are right. Not all shoes are at this price but prices vary. Some are $130 but there are some for around $60.

@SilleeMee I doubt that the founder of Amazon would want publicity that he is offering counterfeit shoes. No, these are Clarks. Prices vary according to color but these are $54.99.

It's just how Amazon works, sometimes one color will be more than another. Tomorrow that shoe might be a higher price. I always check there first to see if I can get a better deal, and often I can.

I see they have Prime Wardrobe Try Before You Buy. Says buy up to 8 items, pay for what you keep with free shipping free returns. Don't know if this is new or not? I have never noticed it before. I will have to check it out.

@blackhole99Could be - especially if they came from a private vendor that is selling their own stuff on the Amazon platform.

Could be someone selling other brands who took those shoes in for exchange as a favor to someone and just wants to get rid of them.
